Change is Coming

Hello Friends and Happy Friday!  I hope your week has been good and your weekend will be great.  I have a quick share today featuring a lovely digital image from Graciellie Designs, it's from the Change is Coming Mega Digital Stamp Set.

I've kept the design CAS, and colored the image using Copic Alcohol Markers.  The sentiment is one of many included in this set.  I've masked off around the edges of the panel and lightly blended ink to create a frame.

To complete the design, I've splattered with black liquid ink, added black acrylic gems from Kat Scrappiness and highlighted the butterfly wings with a white gel pen.

This card has been sent to a friend who has come to a crossroads in her life journey, and I hope this card lets her know she's made the right decision.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

October 2023 Instagram Re-Discovery Hop - Fall/Autumn

Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Sunday!  Today is the Instagram Just for Fun Re-Discovery Hop!  The idea behind this fun hop is to "Shop Your Stash" and created a project based on the monthly theme.  This month, there are a whopping 40 creators participating, so there is tons of inspiration for using your hidden treasures!  The Hop starts at 11 am EST and you can start hopping HERE.

The theme this month is Fall/Harvest.  When I think of Autumn, rich colors and Gratitude instantly come to mind.  Using an image and sentiment from the "With Love and Gratitude" digital set from Graciellie Designs, I've created an Autumn Card of Gratitude.

I've had this image in my stash for a year or more and always forget to color it for Autumn. so this Hop was a perfect time to use it.  I've colored using Prismacolor Pencils.

The patterned papers are snippets from various 6x6 paper pads and I've die cut the focal image and sentiment using dies from the stash.  I've added Wink of Stella, gold Posca Paint Pen splatters and golden thread for accents.

We hop you'll visit and hop along all the stops.  You can start the hop HERE. and if you would like to join us next month, please reach out to our Leader and brains behind the Hop,  Tracy @craftwithme101 on Instagram!  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Gift of Hope

Hello Crafty Friends and Welcome to Sunday!  Superbowl Sunday here in the States, but that's not a big deal to me...I'll be crafting while hubby cheers on his Philadelphia Eagles!  Will you be watching the Game?

I have a quick share for you today featuring an image from the Gift of Hope Digital Set by Graciellie Design. I've colored the image using Prismacolor Pencils...I'm still trying to perfect my technique using these art tools.

The patterned papers are from the Echo Park Good Day Sunshine 6x6 paper pad, the sentiment is from the Bitty Blossoms Mini Set by Gina K. Designs.

I'm not happy with that fussy cutting work!  I don't know what possessed me to hand cut it but once I started, I was committed.  The image and sentiment have been popped on craft foam and the design finished with clear gems.

Have a wonderful week ahead and until next time, Happy Crafting!

My design team project features an image from the Color My World Digital Stamp Set by Graciellie Designs.  The inspiration photo reminds me of a Rainbow and the digital image I chose for my team project went perfectly for this challenge.

I've colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers, die cut and embossed circles in Rainbow colors to represent Pots of Paint and added Stickles Clear Glitter Gel to the die cuts.  The sentiment is included in the digital set.

Please join us at the Inspiration Station Challenge.  Our challenges are bi-weekly and the inspiration photo is a prompt to isnpire you.  How you intrepret it is up to you.  We hope to inspire you with our projects and can't wait to see how the photo inspires you.

Magnolia Branch

Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Monday to you.  Today's card is a Sweet and Simple card featuring a lovely Magnolia Branch digital image from Graciellie Designs.

This is a beautiful image, as all of Graciellie's images are and I've kept it sweet and simple, lightly adding colored details with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers, a light blue ink blended background and ink splatters.  The Sentiment is also included in the digital set.

Have a beautiful day and until next time, Happy Crafting!

Words to Live By

Hello and Happy Thursday!  Today's make and share is a large Butterfly fluttering in with a piece of friendly advice or words to live by..whichever way you intrepret it.

This card measures 6x6; I rarely create cards this big but I wanted the butterfly to take center stage.  The image and sentiment are part of the Change is Coming Mega Digital Set by Graciellie Designs.  I've colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers, embellishments added are black gems on the butterfly body and Wink of Stella on the wings.

Until Next Time, Happy Crafting!

Friends Like You

Hello and Happy Thursday!  Today's make and share features a large bloom and alcohol marker coloring.

This gorgeous bloom and sentiment are part of the Friends Like You digital set from Graciellie Designs.  This is a lovely image and I chose to make it quite large for this A2 sized Sweet & Simple card.

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers, added Wink of Stella on the highlighted areas of the petals and black gems for a finishing touch.  I cut the thinnest of black mats for the focal panel and mounted on a Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 110 lb. card base.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
