Paper Funday Challenge - November 2025: Merry and Bright

Hello and Happy Wednesday!  Today begins a new challenge month at The Paper Funday Challenge Blog, where the challenges are Always Anything Goes with Optional Twists.  The Twist this month is Merry and Bright and our generous sponsors are Altenew and Picket Fence Studios.

For my team project, I've used the twist and the festive Trimming the Tree Stamp and Coordinating Die Set from Picket Fence Studios, which was a Stamptember Collab with Simon Says Stamp.

The patterned papers are from a 6x6 Christmas pad purchased at Hobby Lobby, the circles where cut with dies from Pink Fresh Studio and the white circle was embossed with a Snowflake embossing folder from Darice.

The little girl and her Reindeer, who I made into Rudolph by adding a red gem to his nose, are popped on foam pads along with the gift packages and sentiment.  Lastly, I've added Crystal Stickles to her Hat and Scarf.  The Images were colored using Copic Alcohol Markers.

Please stop by the challenge this month and play along.  This is the last challenge of 2025, as the team is taking a holiday break in December and will resume with the January 2026 challenge.  So until next time, Happy Crafting!

Beautiful Blossoms Challenge #12

Hello and Happy Friday my dear crafty friends!  Today begins a new challenge month at The Beautiful Blossoms Challenge.  The optional mood board is so Wintery and Festive and I've used the mood board for my inspiration.

I've had these dies in my stash for several seasons and both sets; the Poinsettia and Cardinal were gifted to me from a special swap buddy in the U.K. (thanks Michelle!).

I've used 3 shades of red, one being glitter card, to piece together the poinsettia and cardinal.  The music sheet paper is from open stock at Hobby Lobby, the sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp pack of pre-printed sentiment strips.

To finish off the design, I've added gold mirror card for the flower centers and splattered with gold Posca Paint Pen.  The front poinsettia and sentiment strip have been popped on craft foam for dimension.

Please stop by The Beautiful Blossoms Challenge and play along, our prize this month is the Floral Trimmings Stamp Set by Studio Katia.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Kidz Reindeer

Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Tuesday!  We only have 13 more sleeps until the Jolly Man comes and I hope you're getting as excited as I am for his visit.  I have a quick share for your today featuring an adorable little one dressed as a reindeer.

The image is the Kidz Reindeer digital image from Bugaboo Stamps (now retired) and I've used my Prismacolor Pencils for coloring.  The patterned papers are from the Miss Mary Christmas 6x6 paper pad purchased at Hobby Lobby and look like strips of ribbon.

I've die cut the focal image using a stitched tag die from Gina K. Designs, the glittery background banner strip was cut using a die from Kat Scrappiness and the sentiment is from a pre-stamped pack by Simon Says Stamp.

The focal tag has been popped on craft foam for dimension and Crystal Stickles were added to the Christmas lights for that much needed holiday sparkle.  For the finishing touch, a small Baker's Twine Bow has been added to the tag.

That's all I have for you today.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Hot Cocoa Christmas Mouse

Hello and Happy Sunday Everyone, I hope your weekend has been lovely.  Today I have a quick share featuring the adorable Hot Cocoa Christmas Mouse digital image from Bugaboo Stamps (now retired).

I've colored the image using Prismacolor Pencils, the patterned papers are from the "Mary Christmas" 6x6 paper stack, purchased at Hobby Lobby.  I've die cut the focal image using a scalloped edge nesting oval die.

The focal image has been popped up using foam pads and I've added red sequins along with Crystal Stickles (on the tiny heart and marshmallow) for that extra bit of holiday sparkle.

That's all I have for today.  Have a fabulous week, stay calm and carry on within the Christmas crowds and until next time, Happy Crafting!

Countdown to Christmas #7 - Merry Christmas Eve

Hello Crafty Friends!  Today is another Countdown to Christmas card; an easy to create card that could be massed produced.  All you need is a die cut shape and colored card.

To start, I've ink blended a background with shades of pink distress oxide inks.  After the panel was completely dry, I heat embossed a sentiment and splattered the panel with white acrylic Gloss ink.

I've die cut a Christmas Tree from white card, adhered to the panel and highlighted the tree with Crystal Stickles.  I backed the panel with a silver mirror card mat and adhered to the card base.  That's it, so easy peasy.

I would like to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas Eve. For us tonight, the pan is homemade Lasagne, Christmas Eve service at church, hot cocoa and a drive around town looking at Christmas Lights.  Have a blessed Christmas Eve.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge November Mid-Month Inspiration

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!  I hope your weekend was nice.  We are having cool temps here in Florida so I suppose this is our Autumn...for a few days anyway.

Today is Mid Month Inspiration at the Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge Blog.  The challenge is monthly however the team creates additional inspiration on the 3rd Monday of the month.  For my mid-month inspiration project, I've created a Holiday card using the Baby, It's Cold Outside digital stamp.  This stamp set is also On Sale 'till Christmas along with many others.

I've colored the images with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and the designer paper is from the Carta Bella "Christmas Market" 6x6 paper pad.

I've used a mat of gold mirror card, added Crystal Stickle, Wink of Stella and sequins to add interest, sparkle and shine.  I've even stamped the Cocoa/Coffee Mugs with tiny snowflakes.

Please stop by the Challenge Blog to see the team inspiration and go ahead and enter the challenge.  We would love to see your designs!  A new monthly challenge will start 06 December so until then, Happy Crafting!

Guest Designing with the Outlawz Color Challenge

Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday!  I've been invited to guest design with the Outlawz for their Color Challenge.  This challenge runs 2 weeks and the theme includes the colors Blue, White and Green along with something that begins with the letter "S"

For my project, I created a Christmas Card using the required colors and included a stamped snowflake for the "S" requirement.

Using the Gina K. Designs Sparkle and Shine Stamp Set, I stamped and heat embossed the Snowflake and sentiment.  I created a striped background using Green Glitter card scraps and adhering to a card panel with liquid adhesive.

I backed the focal image with a snippet of Blue Glitter card and popped up with craft foam before adhering to the card front.  For a bit of interest, I round 2 corners of the focal and mat.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you on the Outlawz Color Challenge.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Bugaboo's Holiday Chaos Day #6 - Photo Inspiration

Hello and Welcome Back to Day #6 of Holiday Chaos at the Bugaboo Stamps Catch the Bug Challenge Blog.  The theme for today is Photo Inspiration:

For my team project for today, I colored the Snow Globe Santa's Sled with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and used papers from a Memory Box and Echo Park 6x6 paper pad.  I fussy cut the Snow Globe and popped up on foam pads for dimension and although it's hard to see in the photo, I accented the image with a Gelly Roll Stardust Glitter Pen.

Now you may think, how was my project inspired by the provided photo  - it seems to be a stretch....so hear me out....Santa's sled is missing a Reindeer (which is in the photo) and Santa is encased in a Snowglobe (it's a cold, snowy scene in the photo) and the background paper has a bauble print (the little girl is offering the Reindeer a Red Bauble) so........my inspiration all wrapped up with this cute card :)

Please visit us at Catch the Bug for the Holiday Chaos...only 2 more days left of fun and festivities.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

May Your Days Be Merry and Bright

Hello and Happy 1st Day of December.  Wow, this year has flown by!  Let's hope 2021 brings us all a COVID Free Environment so we can go out without masks!  Until then, we must continue to create holiday projects.  My make today is a quick card featuring a large die cut and stamping.

I die cut a large Poinsettia with Leaves and pieced together; edging with Stickles Gold Glitter Gel.  The sentiment is from a stamp set that came with a papercrafting magazine a few years ago.  I liked the large MERRY and was the main reason I purchased the magazine.  I used Gold Mirror card for a thin border around the focal panel and added a Gold Gem to the flower center - which is very hard to see.

I believe I have finished my card making for the holiday season.  Now on to tags for packages and for swap goodies; something I want to include with my Christmas card swaps this year.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Snowmen Selfie - Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge

Hello and Happy Monday!  Today begins a new challenge at Pammie's Inky Pinkies with the theme being Anything Goes.  Our sponsor this week is the talented SheepSki Designs.  For my design team project, I colored up the Snowmen Selfie image.  It is truly an adorable image and perfect for a Holiday or Winter themed project.

I chose to color the image in traditional Christmas colors.  The designer paper is from the Carta Bella "Merry Christmas" 6x6 paper pad.  I didn't add any embellishments to this project but did use a Sakura Gelly Roll Sparkle pen to hat brims here and there for an added bit of sparkle.  The sentiment is from a very old Hero Arts set.

Please join us this round at Pammie's.  We would love to see your creations and we hope to inspire you with ours.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Rustic Noel

Hello and Happy Sunday!  It's a rainy Sunday here in Central Florida, so what better day to craft and work on Holiday Cards and Tags.  Today's make and share features a Snowflake from Gina K. Designs, Rustic Designer papers and heat embossing.

This card measures 5.5" square, I stamped and using fine detail gold powder from Ranger, heat embossed a Snowflake from the Gina K. Designs Sparkle and Shine Stamp Set.  The sentiment is from the same set, which I stamped in Gina K's Red Velvet ink.  The papers are from The Paper Studio "Rustic Noel" 6x6 paper pad.  For finishing touches, I added Nuvo Crystal drops in Copper and Gold ribbon.

Have a wonderful day and until next time, Happy Crafting!

Ornamental Shaker Card

Hello and Happy Saturday!  I've had a lovely day at the Craft table and I hope you had the opportunity to do some Holiday crafting as well.  Today's make features elements from the Hero Arts October 2020 Monthly Card Kit, Silver Mirror Card, Glitter and Fine Eyelash Yarn.

I created a shaker card using the Ornament from the Hero Arts Kit.  I die cut the ornament using silver mirror card, die cut 2 Reindeer and put the shaker element together adding 2 types of fine glitter for the inside.  The designer papers are from the Doodlebug Designs "Winter Wonderland" 6x6 paper pad, the sentiment and tiny Reindeer are also from the Hero Arts kit, the fine eyelash yarn came from my stash (purchased from an Etsy Seller a few years ago).

I'm pleased with the results as Shaker Cards are definitely not my specialty.  I took an extra bit of time making sure to get every piece of the shaker element correct.  My husband said just the ornament would make a nice gift to include in Happy Mail; I'm not sure I have the patience to create more than 1 of these at a time.  It is pretty though and I like the non-traditional colors of the designer papers.

Thanks for visiting and until next time, Happy Crafting!

Hello and Happy Fri-YAY!  That means it's Friday's Freebie at Bugaboo Stamps.  This funny Stella image titled "Today's Menu" will be available today and yours for the taking!

Digital Stamps are so versatile; in this case the image isn't specifically for the Holidays however I made it a funny Christmas Card by my choice of colors, patterned papers and sentiment.  The papers are from the Carta Bella "Merry Christmas" 6x6 paper pad, I added the additional sentiment of Merry Christmas, which is from the Cardz TV "Mini Messages" Stamp set.

Please stop by and grab today's Friday Freebie.  I'm thinking of coloring an 8x10 of this digital image, framing it and hanging in my kitchen :)

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Red and Gold Christmas

Good Sunday Morning to you.  Today's make and share is a Christmas card featuring die cuts, heat embossing and hot foil transfer.

I enjoyed the process of creating this card.  I die cut snowflakes and heat embossed Gold powder on them 3 separate times which gave them a thick, enamel like appearance.  I then heat foiled the sentiment using Gina K. Designs/Thermoweb Foil-Mates Holiday Cheer.  These are pre-printed ink toner sentiments that are run through a laminator.  The foil them adheres to the toner and you have a foiled area.  I found a couple packages of the Foil-Mates on eBay for a great price.

The papers are from the Memory Box "Christmas Plaid" and the Echo Park "A Gingerbread Christmas" 6x6 paper pads.  Lastly, I added  Gold Gems for that finishing touch.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
