Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge - Western

Hello Crafty Friends!  Today begins a new bi-weekly challenge at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge Blog.  I was invited to Guest Design with the Team for the month of March and today is my last project for this month.  It's been fun and I thank the Outlawz for inviting me!

The Sponsor this month is Euerka! Stamps and the Twist this challenge is Western.  For my project, I've created a standard A2 sized Birthday card using the Cactus digital Stamp provided by the sponsor.

The image is perfect for the Twist, I mean what's cuter than a Cowboy Cactus?  I've colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers, the papers are from the "Good Vibes" 6x6 paper pad by Crate Paper.

I have fussy cut the focal image and popped on craft foam for dimension.  The sentiment was computer generated and a few enamel dots were added for additional interest.

Please visit the Outlawz Craft Challenges HERE and play along with us at Twisted Thursday!  That's all for now; until next time ~ Happy Crafting!

Best in Show

Hi Crafty Friends!  It's the 1st Wednesday of the Month and that signals a new monthly challenge at The Paper Funday Challenge Blog.  The theme is Always Anything Goes with an Optional Twist.  The Twist this month is:  Use Green and Gold.  Our generous sponsors are Newton's Nook Designs and Eureka! Stamps.

For my design team project, I've used the Terrific Terriers Stamp and Coordinating Die Set from Newton's Nook to create an A2 sized card.  This set is Retiring so I suggest hopping over to Newton's Nook ASAP and pick it up before it's gone forever.

These adorable Yorkies have been colored with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and the designer papers are from the DCWV "Playful Pets" 6x6 mat stack.  The Pups and Blue Ribbon have been popped up with craft foam for dimension.

No extra Bells and Whistles have been added as there is a lot going on with the patterns.  I do have the Twist elements in my design:  the green oval die cut with gold foiling.

Please join us this month at The Paper Funday Challenges.  We would love to see your designs and we hope to inspire you with ours.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

The Four Seasons Challenge - Autumn/Fall

Hello and Happy Monday!  Wow, it's November 1st and today begins a new challenge month at The Four Seasons Challenge Blog with the Autumn/Fall theme continuing through the end of this month.

My design team project features the Pumpkins and Fence digital stamp from Eureka! Stamps.  I've created this card with the Thanksgiving Holiday in mind and kept the design simple.

I've colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and matted with a panel of brown card.  The card base is 110 lb. Kraft card.

I've added a small bow made from Baker's Twine and a cappucino enamel dot and that completes this card.  Please visit us this month at The Four Seasons Challenge.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Paper Funday Challenges - Eureka Stamps and Polkadoodles

Hello and Happy August!  The 1st Wednesday of the month begins a new challenge on the Paper Funday Challenges Blog.  Our sponsors this month are Eureka Stamps and Polkadoodles, the theme is Anything Goes with an Optional Twist of Cute Critters.

For my design team project, I've created a 5" square card using the Butterfly & Daisy Flower digital stamp from Eureka Stamps.  Does the Butterfly count as a Cute Critter?

I've colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and turned the Daisy Flowers into Cone Flowers.  The focal panel has been cut using a Diagonal Stitched Square Die from Pink Fresh Studios and the Sentiment Strip is from Simon Says Stamp.

Please stop by the challenge blog and join in the fun.  We hope to inspire you with our projects and would love to see what you create.  Take care!  Until next time, Happy Crafting!
