Vancouver Zombie Walk: Help Save The World and Look Damn Good Doing It

Now don't get scared, boys and grrls. It's not February and I'm not after your blood (......yet). I'm after your hearts.

Yes, yes, for a zombie entry it would be more suiting to seek brains, but it's hearts we need. Tomorrow, as every red blooded Vancouver~rite should know is our INFAMOUS ZOMBIE WALK. That's right, we dress a mess and take to the streets in massive mob. And the most important part? Well, dressing and doing yourself up Zombie style.

But what if you could get your make up done professionally by the abso~fucking~lutely most talented make up artists in the business AND help make the world a better place? I know. Priceless. Maybe even better than brains. MAYBE...

The ZOMBIE WALK starts tomorrow at the Art Gallery and that's where you'll find the masters behind TRUE BLOOD, SIX FEET UNDER, THETA EFFECTS, FRINGE, UNDERWORLD 4, and 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: DARK DAYS (just to name a few) and they'll be donating their outstanding talents to the RED CROSS' RELIEF IN AFRICA. They will be working by donation, a mere $20+ will get you the best effects in the world and I shit you not. I stand behind the astounding talents of this team. You can not only look fucking amazing, but you can be helping someone on the other side of the planet that really needs you.

They'll be there (at the Vancouver Art Gallery) from 10:30am to 4pm. Then, the walk commences at 4:30pm sharp. Please help spread the word and have a heart while you hunt down those elusive, yet succulent brains.

Look for the ZOMBIE SQUAD to gore you all up! See ya there kids....

I need your help, my friends. Please spread the word and let's show 'em that horror fans truly are the best of the best.

Because caring is sexy. Anna Paquin kind of sexy.

Bloody Best!

Drunken Zombie Film Fest a Great Success

Yes, boys and grrls. As expected, a Festival called the Drunken Zombie Film Fest was indeed as wicked and awesome as you may have suspected. The audience loved the films served to them and feasted on our first born flick, DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK. A very special, blood soaked (or should it be brain matter soaked?) thanks extended to the festival committee for making it all possible and thank you to the wonderful fans and audience, without who nothing would be possible.

A special little goody for you, boys and grrls, your Twisted Twins preparing to eat an unknowing victim. Yes, please "pose" with us... *snicker, giggle, CHOMP~!, mmmm...*

No guarantees THIS particular drunken zombie sailor was in attendance, but I imagine he would've liked to be ;)

Bloody Brained Best~!!

Drunken Zombies and Dead Hookers, oh my...!

What's more fun than a DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK? A Drunken Zombie Film Festival!! How can you get even more wicked awesome than that? Bring the two together! And that, boys and grrls, is exactly what we have in store for you!! The Drunken Zombie Film Festival is an annual horror film festival held in Peoria, IL. It's taking place from November 5th to 7th. Our beloved DHIAT will be playing on the 6th.

Is your Spider Sense tingling? It SHOULD be, 'cuz the 6th is also when Dead Hooker will be rocking over in San Diego at the Horrible Imaginings Horror Film Festival!! Two simultaneous DEAD HOOKER showings? 6 must be our lucky number...

We couldn't be more excited for this festival! A very special thanks to Bryan Wolford and everyone at the Drunken Zombie Film Festival for having our Hooker at their event! We're off to crack open a bottle and go dig up some corpses to celebrate. There's gotta be a zombie in there somewhere that wants to get hammered with us...

And as we grab our shovels with celebratory shots in hand, we leave you with this and our most humble gratitude...

Twisted Twin lends a hand on Indy Zombie Flick

Being true enthusiasts and endless supporters of anyone with the courage and balls (and you gotta have big brass ones!) to go out and make film independently, twisted twin, Jen Soska, came out to help on a Zombie short film this past weekend supervising the blood and gore effects. Despite the challenges that the crew professionally tackled without missing a beat, the project was a huge success. A special thanks to executive producer Matt Pegues and director Dylan Parke Horne Thompson for the irresistible invitation. And thank you to the amazing cast and crew for a gore~geous day on set. To see all the photos from set, look here!!
