We Love Deadpool
If you don't know DPiddy, you probably should (check his channel here). The infamous dancing Deadpool & also one of the nicest dudes on the planet. Jen and I were lucky enough to meet him at this year's SDCC; and even get to dance with our beloved babes.
From our good friends at Night Walker Cinema - this pic of Jen & I Deadpooling. LOVE THOSE guys! Check them out here on twitter.
Here's us with Crystal Santos (stuntwoman/martial artist/actress supreme), Marat Mychaels (killer artist, Deadpool Corps), & Rob Liefeld (the artist who co-created Deadpool).
Also, here is the new SDCC 2013 Deadpool Vs video from DPiddy. Happy Deadpooling to y'all.

Twisted Twins at San Diego Comic Con
Looking very forward to this year's San Diego Comic Con! Had an epic final fitting for Jen and me with Enigma Arcana for our brand spanking new Dan Schaffer's Dogwitch's Grimm sisters cosplay for San Diego Comic Con. I don't ever want to take it off.
If you're coming to the con, come out to see us. Follow @TwistdTwinsArmy on twitter and on instagram for updates. We want to take so many pictures with all of you beautiful people. Nerd hard, this week, my friends, NERD HARD.
We have two panels on Thursday, July 18th: the WARP COMICS Panel at 5pm in room 23ABC and then the HORROR ON THE PANELLED PAGE Panel at 7pm in Room 5AB. Click either link for full panel info.

Twisted Twins are Total Comic Nerds & Proud
"Forget the “Twisted” part when describing Jen and Sylvia Soska, you can now add sexy geeks as well when describing these two awesome women. Fresh after their first appearance at the San Diego Comic Con where they talked about their film “American Mary“, plus showed off their cosplaying skills for the first time at the con as well. Comic Book Divas talks with Jen and Sylvia Soska about movies, comics and cosplay."Grade five was a changing point in my young life. It was the time that I was first told by my teacher what I could and could not read. Two loves of my life came under fire - my Stephen King books that I would read, discuss the content with my mom, then watch the movie, and my comic books. Mr. King's books where deemed 'too inappropriate' and my comics were 'not real stories'. Both counts were bullshit and I had to sneak in my reading.
Even then, I knew about Comic Con and Jen and I would talk about how cool it would be to one day go to a place where people shared interests and no one judged one another on what they loved. This past Comic Con that dream became a reality and the San Diego Comic Con was even greater than I could have imagined. We were lucky enough to get the opportunity to talk to Comic Book Divas about that experience and about our filmmaking world.
Q: We talked a little bit about San Diego Comic Con; this was your first time attending the huge event, what did you think about the convention?
S: This was our first Comic Con experience. I’ve creeped on the event online through pictures, reviews, blogs, and videos on the event, but absolutely nothing could prepare me for what the event actually was. It was so incredibly happy and people were just wearing their love of the genres on their sleeve. I’m a big comic, film, and gaming nerd – so having the opportunity to hang out with so many people with the same interests is remarkable. I actually felt withdrawal when it was over. I also caught the ‘nerd flu’ but it’s a small price to pay for what was one of the best times of my life.
J: It was so much more than we expected. We had dreamed of attending for years. We had expectations. High ones, but it blew us away. We stepped into the exhibition hall on preview night and were just floored with the massiveness of it all. Kevin Smith said it best in the Comic Con documentary, “A Fan’s Hope”, Comic Con is where you find everything you’ve ever loved and thought you lost.” It’s like dying and coming back and trying to describe what Heaven was like. There are no words. It’s too much everything. And the people are just so warm and kind. It’s unlike anything. I can say we’ll never miss another.
I'd like to thank Jeff Hughes for taking the time to chat with us. You can check out the whole piece here where we talk about filmmaking, aspirations, trouble we get into, getting into comics with the very cool First Comics, and so much nerdiness that you can shake a stick at it (I think that is a phrase, but who the hell knows?).
Big thank you to everyone who checks out this blog and keeps up to date with what we are up to regularly and to you new guys that were all like 'twisted twins, what's that?' and are taking a boo or two around here. Welcome to our misadventures. Glad to have you!

Flickr At Your Twins, Comic Con Style
We flickr. A lot. You want Twisted Twins pics, AMERICAN MARY pics, MONDAYS SUCK memes, anything twin-related and then some - we got a flickr account for that. So you can download, send em to your friends, or just stare off at something interesting (I, myself, scroll through pics in creep mode more than is healthy in any way).
But wait - we got some real good shit for you! It's our Comic Con onslaught pics. 2012 marks our very first Comic Con experience where we had a panel for upcoming AMERICAN MARY, first revealed the new trailer, hung out with the good DEAD HOOKER-loving folks, cosplayed like a pair of uber nerds, Deadpool stalked, got kissed by the Punisher, and fangirled on people we absolutely adore.
For many, many, many years - I have gone to Comic Con via stalking images, videos, and blogs of people who *actually* went. This year, we got super lucky and were actually there. Live the purest of nerd joy through these images. Flickr YA!

PS Why can't everyday be Comic Con? Also, I think I'm in love with Deadpool. In an unhealthy way.

Cinema Junkie Delivers the Goods at Comic Con
A great deal about how a person can reach success is rated on the people you surround yourself with. I know as a fact that without the people who have stood beside Jen and me and our work, that we could have and would have never been able to do the things we do - from our crew, our cast, our family, and our extended family in the horror community. It is at this time that I must sing the praises of one of the most hard-working women, dedicated to excellence with no holds barred, Beth Accomando, the Cinema Junkie.
If you are unaware of the awesome that is Beth, please click here to get caught up with the rest of the class. Jen and I have long dreamed of having the opportunity to go to Comic Con and with our sophomore film, AMERICAN MARY, fast approaching release, it was the chance of a lifetime not only to attend the convention as fans, but to promote the film. Being Comic Con first-timers, a lot of what the convention would be was unchartered territory for us, but Beth was there not only to support and guide us through the beautiful chaos, but she is the woman responsible for our autograph meet and greet as well as our panel.
Because Beth Accomando fucking rocks. She doesn't take no for an answer and she's the kind of woman that makes things happen. In this case, she gave us the experience of a lifetime where we got to speak on a panel discussing AMERICAN MARY with Jen, myself, Todd Masters (our master FX artist behind the film), and Paula Lindberg (our Ruby RealGirl and very first cast member) - all moderated by Beth.
Here is the full panel in all it's awesomeness for those of you that were unable to attend and those of you that want to relive the rad.
Here is the full article on AMERICAN MARY at Comic Con by Beth Accomando - take a read, pass it to your cool friends, and thank you for doing so!
I am going to be thanking Beth for the rest of my life for her kindness, and knowing her, she's just going to keep being so amazingly supportive of the independents and giving us the opportunity to do this. Thank you, Beth, we had the time of our lives and we owe it to you!

Post Comic Con Bliss & Humble Thanks to Those Who Made it the Time of Our Lives!
Today Jen and I have been hit with the 'nerd flu'. What is that? The loving nickname that the bug many people suffer post-Comic Con. Maybe it was from the crazy five days of nerd heaven, complete lack of sleep, or the sadness of having to leave the most perfect place on earth - I like to think it's something I caught from a Spider-man, Batman, Wolverine, Punisher, or Deadpool (second thought, almost definitely something from Poodle).
A most humble thanks to Randy Jablonka, our Batman and Bruce Wayne, our Soldier for Hollywood from our AMERICAN MARY team who was kind enough to show two Comic Con newbies the ropes, gets us our press passes, and keep us out of trouble. A very honoured thanks to Beth Accomando, the Cinema Junkie, who was the woman behind securing our AMERICAN MARY panel at the Con who has been a steadfast supporter of the indies and is just a remarkable woman. Check Beth's wicked article on her experience at the Con here.
There is a shit ton of pictures getting uploaded to Flickr right now. If you see any pictures of us from the Con, please send them along - took a shit ton and would love to see us hanging out with you (especially if we were all cosplaying together!)
A huge fucking stupidly honored and humble thanks to all of you that made this possible. In days, the new AMERICAN MARY trailer is at 10 000+ views. Holy fucking shit. Haven't seen her yet?
We are so excited to share this film with you all. Thank you for making it possible - your support gives a life to independent horror that it could never have without. Thank you for being amazing supportive friends to a pair of insane twins. We promise to keep working very fucking hard to somehow warrant the kindness you have shown us.
AMERICAN MARY TRAILER!!
LOVE YOU GUYS!!! MORE POSTS TO COME. MORE MARY TO COME. CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU LADIES AND GENTLEMEN TO SEE THE WHOLE FLICK!!
