CM Punk watches Dead Hooker In A Trunk

Wow.

A little known fact about myself and my beloved doppelganger is that we are HUGE wrestling fans.

I kid you not.

Undertaker was my beloved way back when and Sylvie (foolish Sylvie) loved The Heartbreak Kid. When they battled in Hell In A Cell, we nearly killed one another until Kane showed up and we both called an uneasy truce and instantly turned on this new intruder on our lives.

Today something beyond amazing happened. Honestly, I don't know if I'm dreaming.

CM Punk, Phillip Jack Brooks, tweeted the following and we almost died...

That's right. The current WWE Champion, the nineteenth WWE Triple Crown Champion and the man to achieve this honor fastest at 203 days, is watching OUR movie. Thank you, CM ! We truly hope you like it. And you've made two wrestling fans hearts soar. I don't think my mind can be comprehend that this is even happening right now.

I hope this is your face when you finish watching it.

Fatally Yours,
Jen and Sylv

Mike and Ike awesomefest with Jen and Sylvia Soska and CJ Wallis

Mike and Ike are fucking hilarious. Who are these outstanding gents? Comics/entertainment critics/film makers/stoners with a small but dedicated world wide, and very smart, fan base.

We have LOVED what these guys do for a long time and had the esteemed pleasure of sitting down and chatting for a good ole fashioned chat fest about all things under the sun. Of COURSE we chatted about our DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK and our new baby, AMERICAN MARY. And what else?

Punching a bear in the face.

A Serbian Film and "newborn porn".

The Human Centipede.

What it was like watching DHIAT in a theater for the first time.

Our retirement from acting after our final appearance in AMERICAN MARY.

Strip clubs.

Baseball bats and disembodied eye balls.

Evil Dead: The Musical and the splatter zone.

Mike and Ike share a bowl and a smile with Jen and Sylvia Soska, the writers/directors/stars of the cult hit film DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK, as well as CJ Wallis, the only major Y chromosome in the cast as well as tech guy extraordinaire. Things are discussed, secrets are revealed, passions are ignited, grapes are fermented, herbs are smoked.

Here's the link, please enjoy the most incredible inane banter every uttered ;)

Click HERE and grab a beer (or ten)!

And believe you me, you'll want to follow these fellas on Twitter RIGHT HERE. We tweet up a storm with these gents and YOU (yes, you!) could be a part of it.

We cannot wait to chat with these gents again. Enjoy the radstorm.

Bloody Best!

Twisted Twins talk with Limited Release's Damien A.

It's been an incredible week with the DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK release by the gore~geous folks at IFC Midnight and with DHIAT playing all month on the UK Horror Channel.

We had the great and surreal joy of being on Twitter with our UK viewers as the film had it's television premiere last Friday.

We had the pleasure of meeting Damien A, of Limited Release, which is a fantastic site that focus on independent artists. It's just wonderful and if you yourself are an indie artist, I highly recommend you get in touch with them about what you're doing and to see who's doing what. There are so many incredible independent artists out there in the world. You should see what they're up to.

Damien was with us when we watched DHIAT along with our UK audience. It was our pleasure to chat with him.

Where did DHIAT come from?

How would we describe ourselves in a single word?

Where do we see ourselves in ten years?

What "remake" would we love to have a crack at?

What's up with American Mary?

What was it like to watch DHIAT on Twitter with our UK audience?

We answer all these goodies and much more. Check out the full interview right HERE.

Thank you most kindly to Damien for not only taking the time to talk with this Twisted Twosome, but also for sharing so many independents and their stories with the world.

Bloody Best!

I Think, Therefore I Tweet

Twitter is a website, owned and operated by Twitter Inc., which offers a social networking and microblogging service, enabling its users to send and read messages called tweets.

Need your news now? Can't get enough (dead) hooker and want the freshest (pun intended) DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK updates as well as up to date release information, behind the scenes secrets, photos from the set, messages from the twins, and much more rad that can barely fit in the 140 characters tweet max? Then I have something for you. Our good friend, fellow filmmaker, Tanner Ross has everything you want and more. You can follow _@DeadHooker for all your hooker needs (except you know your sexual hooker needs - those are still on Craigslist lol).

It's mother- tweeting - fan -fucking - tastic! You can also inter-stalk the twins here --

If you have horror in your heart and need to tweet it out, you can drop Tanner a line at his official horror and indie promotional twitter account here --

I am a slightly greener twitterer, but the more I use this cool service. The more I dig it. You can follow some incredible folks, get up to the second updates from around the world, and even stalk the lovely Bear Jew --

Now spread your azure feathered wings, clear your birdie throat, and get your chirp on. Twitter is fun, fast, and informational. Warning - it is also highly addictive. Tweet to you later, boys and girls!

Help Get Connor Stanhope to 1,000 Followers

As many of you know, tomorrow night is the Nokia N8: Direct and Project premiere and party at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Nokia N8 Direct and Project is a competition which will see talented local film makers direct a minute-long movie with a Nokia N8… and then project it through the device onto a big screen, in front of a live audience.

We Twisted Twins were happy to again be working with CJ Wallis (of FortyFPS Productions) on his entry, RUNAWAY. Though we aren't able to share the details of the film just yet, we can say that it is starring an incredibly talented young actor, Vancouver's own Connor Stanhope.

Fans of Smallville will know him as the young Lex Luther. This is certainly one talented actor that you'll want to keep an eye on. He's someone we Twisted Twins stand firmly behind. You'll be seeing much more of him and we look very forward to working with him once more.

Connor is trying to reach 1,000 followers on Twitter. As I write this he has 815. Boys and grrls, I think we can do even better than that. Please show your support and follow him HERE.

And wait till you see him in RUNAWAY with Sierra Pitkin and yours truly.

Coming soon...

Now go FOLLOW HIM!! XD
