After months of dropping hints about our upcoming feature, AMERICAN MARY, we have at long last released the Official Teaser Poster for the film. Beautifully designed by the film's producer, CJ Wallis, of FortyFPS Productions, it features our actress seen in our teaser trailer, Paula Lindberg as Ruby RealGirl.

Ripped Posters, The Aftermath of the Banning of 'Dead Hooker in a Trunk' by the Roxy Theater in Saskatoon

Sole surviving poster. Hope she's still up tomorrow. Probably not.

Torn poster. Ignorance couldn't rip through heavy duty tape.

More destroyed posters. The sad reality that people take things for surface value rather than what's actually there in front of them. Ironically, the film is facing the same-close mindedness from these individuals as the people they are 'protecting' do.

My sincerest and most heartfelt apologies to John Allison for all this misdirected community outrage. After reading account after account of authorities 'not taking the problem seriously' in regards to actual murder victims, I am surprised that these efforts are being focused on the creative expression of independent artists rather than where it actually belongs.

Actually, not surprised. Just deeply saddened.

Blood Bath 2 Film Fest is coming....

One of the first film fests to show 'Dead Hooker in a Trunk' - the epically long two hour version. Now our Hooker is trim, precise, and right to the point like any good prostitute. Huge thanks to Dione and Andrew Rose for all the support and showing the film at their festival. It's going to be a bloody good one!

Remember how cool those old grindhouse movie posters were? Even if you look at the international release posters of films - they have this different sexy edge. As I've said before, I am one of the luckiest girls in the world to be blessed with some really wonderful, supportive friends. Our good friend, Dissolved Paul (also the lovely hubby to Miss Gory Rae), designed the shit out of this throw-back 'Dead Hooker in a Trunk' poster.

Who is Dissolved Paul? He is an electronic musician from Glasgow and has been making and releasing material as Dissolved for many years. He is also a photographer, horror film addict and ghosthunter/bird watcher and all-round stellar, fucking brilliant gentleman. Thank you for this beautiful poster, sir, it will look so pretty sitting proudly on my wall.
