Lineman Son's tree was beautiful - lots of
flowers this year (great for a tree that seems
to be coming to the end of its' time)....
Unfortunately a few days later the tree was
removed due to worms. The tree
had been damaged by them or another
bug and it was time.
Quite a few years ago, I was lucky to come across
some perennials for sale at garage sales while
down and about the Perham area. I purchased
a few, planted them and waited. These purple
and white (I believe Purple and White Bearded
Iris) have really taken off.
They are beautiful - and purple is one
of my favorite colors!
At the same sales, I also bought a "Ed Murray
Lily" - which I didn't think I had any more...
a picture notes its' placement in the
garden back in 2013... hmm I don't recall it
in that spot - I will have to take a good look
down by the rock and see if I can see if it
is still there somewhere.
Many things have changed in the gardens so
this year I am updating my pictures and
identification charts.

I worked on weeding the last flower garden
this week - the perennial garden (this was my
very first garden here at this home).
The trees we planted a few years ago have
some good growth...
The trees look a bit whimsical and
make me smile.
Our yard is looking great ~ nice and green
and things are starting to bloom. There are
several buds on the peony plants ~ looking
forward to their beauty.
