Our lives are a journey...
I have started a new well-being journey
one that includes low carb and high fats.
Apparently my body either needs a jump
start or it no longer wants to process
sugar and carbs like it used to (for me it
must be a part of getting older).
For years we have attempted to remove
high cholesterol items from our diet for
hubby and I learned how to eat low fat and
non fat items (diet food). I am now finding
out that that no longer works for me and
I really question how healthy that was.
So it is now low carb, high fats and protein.
So far I have found it quite interesting and
and learning some of the tricks.
My Cherry Coke is now gone two weeks,
haven't had any bread nor pasta noodles
all of which are high in carbs.
I have eggs almost every morning for
breakfast (just like dad) and hubby was
happy to hear that butter was now coming
back into the house.
I am finishing Week 2 and I see
changes - *more energy* *the cravings
are going away* *it is easy to get moving*
I will continue on with my journey.
