New Year's Eve 2023, we brought in the
new year visiting friends, Dave & Gina.
~~~
No Snow - no snowmobiling. The
sleds, this year, were not even
taken off of the trailer.
After getting settled in assisted living,
this year Hubby's mom moved to the
nursing home. Dad followed after many
medical appts after falling on the ice.
Later in 2024, they have settled in
to having the nursing staff care for
them. They are doing well.
One camping trip to
Huntersville, the end of June.
We got some four wheelin' in and
it was warm enough to tube the river.
~~~~
We did a weekend (right as school
got out) with the 4 oldest grands.
We had lots of fun ~
Pony rides
Played at the Inside Playground
Picnic at the City Park
Saw the troll being built.

We also all got together:
* Grandpa's Birthday at the
park in Alexandria
*Open Deer hunting weekend

Birthday parties for the grands are
always fun. A picture is taken
at each of the parties.
In the Fall, we had a
3rd Grader, a 2nd Grader,
a 1st Grader and
a Kindergartener go
back to school.
Grand #5 started preschool.
~~~~
We kept busy with several projects -
The new shelter for the horses was
completed. And is also fun to decorate.
And a fence was built around three
sides of the garden.
We also enjoyed some 4 wheelin' in
the area; enjoyed family and friends
that visited in July.
After 2023 being a busy year, we did
all gather early for Christmas this
year.
Another year gone by, our children are
busy adults with good sized families. The
grandchildren are all healthy
and growing!
Just some of the things the Grands
did this past year:
T-ball, football, basketball,
dance, county fairs,
Awana, Sunday
School, swimming, camping
and fishing.
This year we returned to the BigHorns
with the SxS, brought Teeter with and
enjoyed the mountains.
Not long after we left, the mountain
started on fire and many of the areas
we drove around in were burned.
They did protect the lodges.
In October, Mom found out she had
Stage 1a Endometrial Grade 2 Cancer.
The fall was busy with a couple of
surgeries and appointments. The
final result is good but she has
chosen to do radiation treatments
for added security. We pray the
treatments (after the first of the year)
are kind and that the
cancer doesn't return.
The fall was busy with Deer Hunting,
Thanksgiving and then an early Christmas!
We made need some rest but we
are ready to move on to 2025!
