Saturday Trip To Town

Saturday morning was my errand day - I headed to
town.... and just like the last few days Mother Nature
during the night had put on a show...

The trees were absolutely captivating.... I made
several stops to try and capture the beauty...

The lake was busy with those fishermen who
have their ice houses on the lake...

Luckily for those of us out taking pictures the frost
these days has lasted the better part of the day - giving
me many opportunities to take pictures.

This is the farm I grew up on - the red barns
are striking with the frosted trees in the background.

Heading past the cemetery - this cemetery is
surrounded by trees, a fence and lots of tall grasses - during
these days of frost it has been a popular place (for
picture taking that is) - there were quite a few tracks
in the snow by the time I stopped.

The beauty surrounds us.

We Are In A Frosty Wonderland

We are still having very foggy days and a lot of frost.
Our trees take most of the day to drop that
frost and then it starts all over again.

Zoey once again joined me on my walk today - today
it was out to the mailbox and back.

When I got out of the pine trees into the open  this
is what I found  - wide
open fields without much snow cover and everything
in sight covered with frost.

Jack Frost is certainly presenting a show!

I never get tired of the pine trees.... there is  more
frost today then yesterday....

Not sure what Zoey's thoughts were here but
she is sure checking out the white stuff.

Back up the driveway - we found Tigger
waiting for us....

We will see what Saturday brings - if we have frost which
I suspect we will -- I will be venturing to town so
will look for some new frosty things.... :)

Spring Like Weather

It has been foggy here the last few days.... Thursday
at noon it was still this foggy.. with no rays of sunshine
coming through..

I haven't been taking many pictures lately but today
I just couldn't resist getting outside to see what
is going on..

The flower garden is quiet -  gently covered with a
layer of snow.

The trees in the yard are still covered in frost
with night fall coming.

What is left of the summer flowers is also
covered in frost..

Zoey cat took this walk with me - for one time being the
biggest scaredy cat she now follows us all over... you
can see how she is trying to not touch her belly
in the snow.

The pine trees were covered in frost - surrounding
me in a beauty all of its' own.

And then my little rosebush leaf covered in frost...

We don't have much snow and have been getting
temps near and into the 40's - it isn't going
to last long...
