I love these schlocky films of the past. They're funnier than most comedies today. Can't wait to see it! Thanks!

My god I think this is a film I saw as a kid and been looking for all these years. I never knew the title and at times thought I dreamed this up. I just have to check it out now.

It was a fair film. I wish there was more monster. Still it was very surreal seeing it in the present day through my adult eyes. It seemed funny to find out it was in color as I saw it as a kid at some friend's home on their color TV back in the early 70's. So my mind just keep this as a B&W film.;) Seeing it now I think I was probably more creeped out by the loony farmer dude and the way he treated the others. In the end he was like the real monster.;) Also talk about a long flashback with that teacher. Although when the guy gave her the monster on the food plate that image stuck with me from when I was a kid! One other thing I got the impression from the scene that this monster was even bigger than I thought. Still in the end there was not enough of it to really tell it's actual size.

Now if I could just find the film to fit the scene in my head of a giant potato bug type creature attacking a couple on a nice picnic.;) Cheers!

Oops I typed my last comment so fast I made no sense I meant friend's black and white TV. Funny I also recall going over to their house a few other times on Saturday afternoons and all us kids would pile into this room and watch Creature Features or something like that. This was in NY and there was no horror host as I recall. Just a screen graphic of a Frankenstein like creature if I am even remembering this correctly. I do recall seeing other films like ATTACK OF THE CRAB MONSTERS and ANGRY RED PLANET. What fun times.;)
