Radio: Jungle Jim
Jungle Jim began as an American newspaper comic strip chronicling the jungle adventures of hunter Jim Bradley, who was nicknamed Jungle Jim.
Syndicated by Hearst and sponsored by the Comic Weekly, The Adventures of Jungle Jim radio series premiered November 2, 1935. Matt Crowley had the title role for three years, until Gerald Mohr stepped in as Jungle Jim beginning April 24, 1938. Vicki Vola and Franc Hale portrayed Shanghai Lil, and Juano Hernandez was the Hindu servant Kolu. Each episode ran 15 minutes. Several episodes were based directly on the comic strip, such as The Ghost of the Java Sea. Gene Stafford scripted for producer Jay Clark. Glenn Riggs was the announcer, among others. In the opening episode, "The Bat Woman," Jungle Jim meets Miss Chalmers and Jacques LaBarr gets into a barroom fight with Jim.

Jungle Jim (1937) is a Universal movie serial based on the comic strip by Alex Raymond. Alex Raymond also created the Flash Gordon comic strip.
Two safaris enter the African jungle intent on finding a white girl who is the heiress to a fortune. One safari, led by Jungle Jim (Grant Withers), wants to make sure she gets the news that she is now a rich woman. The leaders of the other safari want to kill the girl so they can try to get hold of her inheritance.

Comic: Turok - dinosaur hunter
When Valiant Comics started they licensed 3 characters published by Western Publishing. Doctor Solar, Magnus and Turok. Before spending the first couple of years publishing unsuccessful Nintendo and WWF books and basically spending all their capital. Finally with cash running out the decided to do something with the characters they had originally licensed.
T.V.: The Black Adder pilot
The Black Adder is the unaired pilot episode of the television series Blackadder. Taped on 20 June 1982,it features the earliest incarnation of Rowan Atkinson's character Edmund Blackadder, and follows a plot that was closely adapted into the series one episode "Born to Be King".
Like the first series, The Black Adder, it was written by Richard Curtis and Rowan Atkinson. However, the episode features a number of major differences to the aired first series, mainly in casting and its Elizabethan era setting (eventually returned to for the second series). Most notably, comic actor Philip Fox plays the character Baldrick, rather than Tony Robinson, who was to play the role in all subsequent series. John Savident plays the role of the King, who was replaced by Brian Blessed for the first series. Prince Harry was played by Robert Bathurst instead of Robert East. The rest of the cast (Atkinson, Tim McInnerny and Elspet Gray) were reunited for the commissioned series.[2]
It was directed by Geoff Posner, who was the director of the last series of Not the Nine O'Clock News. Producer was the then head of Comedy Department, John Howard Davies but this was a temporary measure because John Lloyd, who had co-produced Not The Nine O'Clock News was working on a special with Pamela Stephenson.[1] When the series was commissioned, John took over the producer's role. A unique instrumental version of the "Blackadder" theme by Howard Goodall was used, performed by an orchestra and harpsichord. A revised arrangement, featuring mock-heroic lyrics, was used for the first series.

movie:I Like Bikes... (1978)
This quirky film educates young drivers to try to share the road with bicyclists. We follow the growth of Lisa from a pig-tailed bicyclist to a teen driver who now must tolerate unpredictable bike-riders. GM likes bikes too!
It's narrated by Jim Stringer - who did much of the music for Centron Films in the late 1970s and 1980s.
