More Golden Age Goodies Here's a couple issues from Superworld Comics and Super Comics.
Superworld Comics #3 published by Kosmos Publications in August 1940.Superworld only lasted three issues and was edited by Hugo Gernsback, who started the first science fiction magazine Amazing Stories in 1926. The Annual Science Fiction Awards called the Hugos were named after him.
Super Comics #35 published by Whitman in July 1941.
Super Comics had 121 issues, with Dell publishing it with #69. It is mostly filled with newspaper strip reprints, including Dick Tracy, Smokey Stover, Moon Mullins, Smiling' Jack. The standout story for me (well, artwise, haven't read it yet) is Jim Ellis by Richard Fletcher. He drew newspaper strips, so this is probably a reprint. It's an adventure story involving foreign intrige.
ENJOY!
