When Sharing links and files please...

I have to ask folks to watch out for a few things. I recently received a complaint from a web master and also one from google about some posts. In order to 'play safe' I have to ask folks who contribute to follow a couple guidelines when submitting stuff.

First off I want to say thanks to all of you who have contributed in the past and also those who plan to help out in the future.
OK the first 2 are really the ones to pay attention to. (they are the ones that can cause trouble to the blog)

#1 STUFF FOUND ONLINE: If sharing a download link you found on a webpage please use the actual webpage you found the download link on and not the link itself. This is to assure the folks who did the leg work of uploading the file actually gets some credit. Also if your planning on using some of the personal upload links from this blog elsewhere please do the same for us and link to the post and not the actual download link. It's all just good Netiquette.

#2 Just RELEASED: Please do not share stuff that is brand new. If it just came out this month or last it is probably too hot to post on a open forum like this. I want this new stuff as bad as the next guy but I also want to keep the blog online! thanks for understanding.

Id also personally like to ask folks to..

#3 LARGE ZIPS/RARS If you zipped or rar'ed a large number of comics together yourself, please add what issues are in the packs to help folks know what they are getting (this will also help speed up the time for me to make a formal post for it)

#4 Have a little patience. It may take a day, two or more for me to get around to making a post for a submission. I will try my best to quick.

How to contribute

There's allot of ways to help out.Most of these things can be done with a quick comment !

A thank you goes a long way for me and other contributors.
Comment if you come across a dead link.
Comment if you like/dislike the content on a post.
Comment on the quality of the file.

You can help fill the basement with goodies .

Upload a file(s) to share with everyone. (If you upload a zip or rar with multiple comics or other files please tell me the issue/episode numbers contained within.) * see below for more info.

Recommend a website that has goodies.
Recommend a specific webpage on a site .
Recommend a webpage that has links to downloadable content.
Please Do not share the actual DL links found on other sites but rather the webpage that houses it - It's a ettiquette thing -thanks.
Do Not share New stuff. Only stuff earlier than 2000
This blog is open to everyone so please no adult (X) stuff. (Though you can still email that stuff :) Haha.. but no seriously..)

There is one final catch - please make sure the files you share are of decent quality (if it is a comic make sure the pages can be read. If it's a movie make sure it's all there. Pretty much only share something you would want to download yourself.)

(no member only stuff) Please use sites that are 'friendly' and easy to negotiate through. a few we recommend using are - Megaupload, Rapidshare, Sharebee, MediaFire. - If you need any other assistance just leave a comment and ill help walk you through the process .
