Additional Information

• Bottle containing a rune cannot be shared or dropped.
• Bottle is a permanent item, using up all charges does not make it disappear.
• The sell value of the item does not depend on the remaining charges, nor on the stored rune.
• The Tempest Double does not copy this item, despite not being a consumable.

• The ability has the following properties:
  • Interrupts the wielder's channeling abilities upon cast.
  • The ability always self-casts upon cast.
  • Ctrl
    enables casting Regenerate on an allied hero.
    • Considers clones, illusions, and creep-heroes as heroes.

• The Regenerate buff has the following properties:
  • Reapplying the buff refreshes the duration.
  • Dispels upon taking a 0-player-based damage instance (after reductions), regardless of factions.

• The buff does not dispel from the following sources:
  • Self-damage sources.
  • HP Removal sources.

• The item restores its charges in the following conditions:
  • When there is no Rune stored.
  • Within the Rejuvenation Aura area, in 1-second intervals, bound to the game time.
  • When respawning on an Ofrenda.

• The charge restore ability effects are applied as follows:
  1. Restores the charges if the item fulfills the aformentioned conditions.
  2. Dispels the charge restore buff.
  3. The 1-second restore timer starts.

• Considers the following runes as Power Runes:
  • Amplify Damage Rune
  • Arcane Rune
  • Haste Rune
  • Illusion Rune
  • Invisibility Rune
  • Regeneration Rune
  • Shield Rune

• The passive activation has the following properties:
  • Passively activated upon reaching its max store rune duration, even upon the wielder's death.
  • Neither interrupts the wielder's channeling abilities, nor breaks invisiblity sources, except Illusion Rune.

• ILLUSIONS
  The wielder's illusions neither can utilize this ability, nor benefits from it.

Heroes who play in the mid-lane usually do well with a Bottle, because it allows them to control runes.

Trivia

• Prior to the February 01, 2018 Patch, Bottle's passive ability, Store Rune, did not have an official name. The name was taken from the Dota 2 Wiki and officially implemented into Dota 2.
• In DotA, this item is called Magical Bottle. The reason for why it was changed to Bottle in Dota 2 is unknown.
