Here is another cool-sounding young band cranking out some heavy death metal on this EP. BHD are from Birmingham, Alabama, and have a killer technical tone to their brutality. Supposedly Devolution are a 4-piece band from Toulouse, France but based on their Bandcamp page this release is a 1-man project from Clément Roig (Antropofago). Here is a band that I wasn't really aware of until I stumbled across this disc a couple of months ago. It's interesting that Curse Of Denial is labeled as death/black metal but I am not hearing a lot of black metal in these tracks but I do hear a lot of good riffs and interesting structures, which keep me entertained all of the way through this disc and they have a new EP that sounds very good as well.

I find myself promoting this disc every so often and I always thought of it more as death-thrash but obviously, there are some "core" vocals present on this disc. I still call it infectious French death thrash, melodic at times, but overall nicely aggressive \m/\m/

During their existence, the band has experienced many lineup changes but their style has remained fairly consistent throughout all of the changes.
