I have been familiar with Humaniac ever since their 2014 album but I wasn't anticipating this release at all and I want to say that this may be my surprise release of the year. I really like the way these guys have progressed in their style. They still have a lot of "core" elements, especially in the vocals but musically I hear them to be more of a progressive death metal band. No matter how you want to classify them this is a very good disc for my tastes!
