These guys have created some excellent death metal over the past 7-8 years, and I was very excited to see this release yesterday. I get it, it's only 11 minutes long, but the killer nod to Black Sabbath in the first track, and how it quickly shifts into a very different riff in track 2 sounds badass! The 3rd track is an experimental cover that completely changes the vibe, and not for the better, from the opening 6 minutes, but it shows their talent, and I applaud it.

Every so often there is one of those albums that you don't expect to so thoroughly enjoy and when you do it recharges your batteries and to me, this is one of those albums exactly. There have been a little more than a handful of top-notch death metal releases this year for my tastes and at this moment I will include Fulci's debut for 20 Buck Spin in that category because this is awesome.

As it turns out this band is much better than I have ever realized. The only album I had previously heard is their 2021 release which I liked but didn't realize that this album here was so damn good too until now that I have opened my eyes to these Italian purveyors of brutality because of their excellent new release Duck Face Killings.
