I remember when I first heard this band's previous album, Ancient Halls of Emptiness, a few years back I thought to myself that it was a damn shame that they had such a poor production because they have hella potential for creating good death metal. On this new album, I am feeling pretty much the same way. The production is much more to my liking this time around, but it seems they're still going for a muddier, older sound, and I would really like to hear them take advantage of a cleaner, louder sound. Whatever, this album, actually both albums, are good and worthy of attention.

Earlier today I was saying in the chatbox that I get frustrated when bands get, or go after, a weak production especially when they have the talent and potential of these guys. This album could've hit much harder.
