Sarcator is back with a new offering of their Swedish-styled blackened thrash metal, which is very much in the vein of another band featured here in The Chamber this weekend, The Crown. There is a good reason for that since one of the guitarists and founding members of this band is the son of one of the guitarists from the other. I was very much down with these young guys back in 2020 and then lost track of them with their last album but I am liking this new release.

I have long been a fan of the Swedish style of thrashy, melodic death metal, dating back to when I first heard bands like Crown of Thorns & Cardinal Sin, and these guys have a direct link to the aforementioned Crown Of Thorns with the son of Marko Tervonen on guitars for Sarcator but this album has more in common with later material from The Crown \m/\m/

Damn! Here are a group of kids between 14 to 17 years old who are creating some high-quality old school Swedish death metal but, then again, the guitarist has a good pedigree.
