Rotten Tomb is a band that I've kind of ignored over the past couple of years. I've had this since May and just getting to it now and I have had their 2022 release for more than 2 years now and have only listened a couple of times but that is on me because I am realizing that they are pretty damn good.

These guys are from Santiago and it seems they have been around for about 8 years now and all but 1 original member remains from the inception. I can tell that time together has served them well on their 1st full-length album.

Sacrodeath has been around since 2004 but didn't release their first LP until 2017 and over the years they released a bunch of EPs, splits, videos, and a couple of live albums and this is only their 2nd full-length offering and it only clocks in at 28 minutes. This was originally released in '23 but I missed it and the reissue came out a week or so ago I had it on my BC wishlist and finally listened to it today and really like it. They create some killer riffs, rhythms, and breakdowns in their songs but it's not perfect there is too much repetition in many of the sections and they tend to drag it on a little too long at times. It doesn't matter though I still dig their brand of thrash \m/\m/

Here check these guys out and don't confuse them with the UK band who are very good in their own right. These guys are from Concepción, Bio Bio, Chile and they have a lot of blackness in their brand of death and a lot of good jam session interplay between the instruments in each track with nice leads. This band has been around since 1998 and was very active in the early to mid-2000s with several releases over that span with my favorite being Vorex Deconstruccion. The band has slowed down a bit with studio releases in recent years but this new album is one of their best for my tastes. The title track was released as a single in 2019 and then again on a split in 2022, and the video is from 2020, so it seems they really want to promote this track.
