(DVD full, pro-shot, 1.4 GB).
A 'What's On' special featuring the Buzzcocks and Magazine, broadcast on Granada TV on July 27th, 1978 and presented by Tony Wilson. This copy appears to be taken directly from the production master, complete with slates. I've created a DVD out of it using TMPGEnc. Here are the technical data as reported by G-Spot: Audio: 48000Hz, 256 kb/s, stereo (2/0), Video: 704x576, 25fps (4:3) PAL. The programme lasts nearly 40 minutes and consists mainly of Tony Wilson interviewing Pete Shelley and Howard Devoto, but there is also live footage of both bands shot at the Lesser Free Trade Hall in Manchester on July 21st, 1978.

John Lee Hooker's show at the Wise Fools Club, Chicago, on 9 November 1976. Sourced from an FM broadcast, with a couple of audience members very audible. The performance is brilliant, with JLH fired up and full of energy, and the crowd enthusiastic. Highly reommended. --- bootlegzone.com

TAD - 8 Way Santa - {Reboot - Out of Print}
FBS Reboot...
Originally posted May 29, 2014 now with a new link...
TAD was an American grunge band from Seattle, Washington led by Tad Doyle. Among the first of the many bands which came out of Seattle in the grunge era, Tad was notable for the fact that its music was inspired far more by '70s metal than the punk which influenced many other grunge bands. Although their commercial success was limited, their music is still highly regarded amongst grunge fans.

Where does one begin to describe how excellent this album is? Is it the earthy, soulful yelling of the lead singer? The hard-rocking music? The scary slow burn of Candi? The wonderfully haunting 3-D Witch Hunt? The humorous cinematic atmosphere of Jack Pepsi, Delinquent or Trash Truck? The superb guitar and bass playing? The thunderous drumming? The clear, punchy and solid production? Maybe it's just the whole combination and how it goes together so wonderfully.
This is one of THE best of the early-90's grunge albums. It has a bizarre, twisted sense of humor, a perfect balance between the hard rocking and the melodic and the excellent, mountainous vocals of lead singer Tad Doyle. Such a shame that this band never made it big. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates good, unpretentious, humorous, and rugged hard rock. One of the unsung classics of the grunge era.

Tad Doyle is not someone to fuck with. The second time I saw TAD, 10 minutes into the show he warned some douche bag to stop spitting on him or the guy was going to get his ass beat. 10 seconds later all 300+ lbs. of Tad Doyle jumped off the 5 ft. high stage onto the spitter and promptly smashed the guy's face in. It was great! I meet Tad after the show. A really nice guy and we talked music for about 15 minutes, he's just not someone you want to piss off.
I LOVE this record!!!

1. Jinx
2. Giant Killer
3. Wired God
4. Delinquent
