Recording Gear: Sony ECM-939 Stereo Microphone > Sony Walkman D6
JEMS
2017 Transfer: master cassettes > Nakamichi CR-7A azimuth-adjusted
playback > Sound Devices USBPre2 > Audacity 2.0 (capture to .wav)
> Adobe Audition > Izotope RX > CD Wav > Foobar2000
Cleaning and Tracking by: Chrisedge
I
was given the captured wav files to do a basic cleanup and trackout.
The only issue with the tape was a cut and flip during “Hot House.” I
removed the gaps but didn't try and cover it too much. I am on a big X
kick for their 40th Anniversary this year and this is a lively show from
1983 with some songs that don't get played much, including a great
version of “True Love (Part 2).”

The Dismemberment Plan - Live New York, NY. 2013

Reformed Washington D.C. band The Dismemberment Plan play a live set on KEXP from Judson Memorial Church in NYC during CMJ 2013.
Recorded 10/18/2013.
http://www.dismembermentplan.com/
The Dismemberment Plan is a Washington D.C. based indie rock band formed on January 1, 1993. Also known as D-Plan or The Plan, the name comes from a stray phrase uttered by insurance salesman Ned Ryerson in the popular comedy Groundhog Day. The band members include Eric Axelson (bass), Jason Caddell (guitar), Joe Easley (drums) and Travis Morrison (vocals and guitar). Axelson, Caddell, Morrison and original drummer Steve Cummings formed the band in college, knowing each other from attending various Northern Virginia high schools (Axelson, Cummings, and Morrison attended Lake Braddock Secondary School together in Burke, Virginia). Cummings left the band after the recording of the Plan's debut album and was replaced by Easley, cementing the band's lineup. The Dismemberment Plan released four albums, before breaking up in 2003. They reunited in early 2011, touring the US and Japan and releasing a live album. A comeback album, Uncanney Valley, was released on October 15, 2013.

What Do You Want Me To Say?
No One's Saying Nothing
My favorite Dismemberment Plan record CHANGE.
I've fallen asleep in shift of distant satin
I've watched the rich risk it all for
Fifteen minutes in a Heathrow bathroom
I've shuddered as an unseen mouth slid down my spine every night
Of a lover betrayed half a million miles away
I have cried so hard for hours and not known why, I never do
I've been knocked down flat by joy
That makes my face pulse like a sugar high
I've been cornered by the screams of a body as it freed itself of it's mind
But no one is going to save the world with what I've got
An indigo light from silvery towers
Surrounded by rocks and stones as far as the eye can see
As an arrogant dream storms in from another life
I have felt the snaps of lines that bind us all to this world
I have felt such unreal pain and not known what to do, it isn't mine
I have stayed awake for weeks and slept for days, not one dream
But no one is going to save the world with what I've got
An indigo light from silvery towers
Surrounded by rocks and stones as far as the eye can see
And a razored wind that tears at the walls

"The Complete Chronicle", there was only one show in Jerusalem
on October 27. There exists a tape claimed to be recorded
on October 29 in Jerusalem. During this tour Eric used to play
(at least) two concerts in several cities, so it's not unlikely that
he performed two shows in Jerusalem, too. The happening of
this October 29 concert is solely based upon the audience
recording which, of course, may be originated from the
October 27 show, being labeled incorrectly.
