The 15mm Legion of Ood bringing peace......

.....to the galaxy or knocking the faeces out of you if you don't want their peace!

This unit was part of a recent entry to the ongoing painting challenge over at Curt's place, the legion preaches from the book of Ood and brings the word to the other book readers of the galaxy.....

Many scales and ranges used including 15mm, 20mm and 28mm especially the GW dreadnoughts as heavy mechs and a 20mm kloth from CP Models as religious advisor......

This lot puts me slightly ahead of Ray in the challenge, just a few weeks to go.....

Cheers Bill Bailey.......

Warhammer 40K Goblin Soviet Squad from Kromlech........

........otherwise known as the Spitsnasty!

The orks in the Orkmacht look with disdain towards their smaller brethren who follow the code but in their own way, considered crazier and drunker than any other unit. Resin minis from the boys at Kromlech, painted  a while ago..............

I give you the Spitsnasty!

An Orctober Ork with a big cat.......

..........drives a Tiger in to a bar! Warhammer 40K Ork from Kromlech and a last one for Orktober!

A 1/35 scale Tiger, a bit clean but these Orks are weird, no weirder than even that!!!

Finished this a while ago but is dedicated to the cailin..........

Orkmacht Games Workshop Warhammer 40K Ork Kommandos.

Some metal ork boys from Games Workshop.........

Nothing too major other than Vallejo German grey and a few balkenkreuz to show their affiliation to the Fascist gods!

A Tiger should be next!

The Orkmacht, 28mm Games Workshop Warhammer 40K Ork Killa Kans.

Just a post to prove I'm alive, even to prove it to myself, life has just been a little fecked up, things are getting me down but who can say that doesn't happen to us once in a while........

These are some Games Workshop Ork Killa Kans found in a drawer from a previous project and hey presto you have the beginnings of the Orkmacht, an ork army with fascist tendencies?

A few balkenkreuz later and we have the beginnings of something weird, maybe wrong, who cares, there will be a backstory. ......and Ray will sigh!

I do still visit and read blogs but more lurkerish at the moment, thanks for reading.

My Favourite Games Workshop WH40K figure but maybe not the best painted!

"Space Marine Terminator Captain"

Digging around the man cave when I found a box folder with my favourite models in 40K, the Terminators of the Space Marines, the new stuff is lovely but these in my opinion were the best, I have had most of these for quite a while (back when my chapter The Dark Angels were black!), it's a static pose but a pose of authority......

........most of them have been nitromor's a few times and repainted a few times (the last time was many years ago but still my favourites, not even on proper 40K bases but they were for another set of rules once that didn't happen.........maybe it's time to get the Dettol!!!!!!!

He had a few friends.......

.....and a few more!

What the hell he got a few more, I think the chaplain is the newest?

15mm Sci-Fi Khurasan Colonial Marine APC and Games Workshop Sentinels....

....we now have 28mm Games Workshop WH40K sentinels posing as 15mm sci-fi walkers for my colonial marine forces.

The APC is a federal Caiman M2189 from Khurasan Miniatures and the sentinels were re-painted from my days of WH40K, Khurasan 15mm exterminators for scale. To me the sentinels are an iconic piece of kit from the boys at Games Workshop, the resin Caiman isn't bad at all either.

Painted Games Workshop Ogres and some of my favourite figures ever.......

....and also show Posties Rejects in plastic painted form on tour (I'm the good looking one on the right and Ray is the ugly git with the closed helmet!)

These are some of my favourite figures ever made and come from the monster that is Games Workshop who do good stuff if a little expensive but quality costs. I like fantasy and sword and shield epics and these were for a project that still sits on the back burner but there are also painted GW chaos infantry, Wargames Foundry orcs and even skeletons sitting in boxes but some day they will surface for a game.

There's not a lot of love for fantasy gaming among the Rejects but Ray actually putting a game on is also fantasy so I don't see a problem, sometimes it's the figures that inspire the period you play.
