15mm Fantasy Houses and Hovels.......

.....from Alternative Armies!

Got these sent to me by a friend earlier in the year but they had remained on the resin pile for quite a while but my friend Daniel who is a big Star Wars Legion fan and who was in a painting slump at the time, so I ended up painting a Fleet Trooper unit for him earlier this year and recently he was looking for a drastic change in his painting queue and hey presto I got these done.......

They are from Alternative Armies and could be used for other periods as well as Fantasy.....

....I like his painting skill (he's a damn good painter) and it gives a boost to a little painting slump or lethargy!

Figure is a 15mm Battle Valor villager for scale help, picture quality is the usual clusterfeck.....

Nicely done Daniel, he may need more drastic changes in his painting queue........

Do they require basing?

The Legion fleet troopers in question.........

You have any of those special mushrooms?

15mm gigantic magical mushrooms from Scotia Grendel..........

Some mushrooms to add some scenery to my fantasy gaming, can be used to hide behind or for some hallucinogenic farming........goblins love them!

15mm figures to give some idea of scale......

Currently working on half a slightly derelict caravan man cave for storing the hobby......

Q: Why did the mushroom get invited to all the parties? A: Because he's a fungi!

15mm DragonFrog Games Graveyard.....

.....plus residents!

A nice MDF graveyard for 15mm gaming from Dragonfrog Games, easy enough to put together once you're awake but alright for 6 pounds.......

Could be used for many, many periods, added a few zombie residents......

Some Sci-fi and Modern Scenery pieces........

...... posing as 15mm from various sources!

These were my first entry in the challenge (currently beating Ray at this time), I have left them on the sticks for ease of movement and storage......

They are a mixture of metal, resin and plastic and a mixture of scales too, 15mm, HO scale and some 28mm......

....and nearly half are GZG!

172 pieces in total.

The above GZG windows doubling as video banks......

Some of them plus a lot of other scenery will hopefully end up in this item.......

15mm MDF Subway Entrance and Barriers from Blotz!

These little MDF gems from Blotz are cheap and cheerful scenery additions to my ongoing scenery addiction....

Some 15mm figures to show some scale if you're interested in that sort of thing......

May do the odd movie review again......every once in a while?

More 15mm rubble. Prodos Weyland Yutani Commandos and a welcome visitor ........

.....bearing gifts!

Have a few more rubble markers to show, I do think now that the articulated lorry trailer should have been damaged more even if it was full ( I have another one I might do differently).....

15mm figure for scale........

My damn fine good friend (Vinnie) from Somerset arrived for a weeks holiday bearing birthday presents including books and scenery, here he is eating the last of the scones and annoying the dogs with his views on sharing.......

He is a fellow wargamer and currently loves the Prodos 28mm range of aliens, marines and predators, I painted these commandos for him while he was here........

15mm Modern/Sci-Fi Rubble Scenery Bodging........

Wow.....another post........

These bad boys are for my city streets for the modern or sci-fi gaming, they are based on old DVD movies discs I was sent but were awful( I think one starred Vinnie Jones in a recent flick), the contents of the bases were found in the bits box ( a mixture of 15mm and HO scale) and the field I live in......

I wanted them to be the one colour to show that the thick city dust has settled on everything but nature has started to make it's presence felt......

Working on a couple of others to finish the set and today I reached a milestone...50, no not stone.....years old!

Who would have thought it.........

The beginnings of a shanty town.......

........in 15mm from Ironclad , Khurasan and Peter Pig!

These were completed during the Analogue 2015 shenanigans but didn't count due to some scenery bias from the judges, anyway the majority of scenery (fences/buildings) is Ironclad(they were having a sale) apart from street lights (khurasan), telegraph poles (peter pig).

There will be more additions, some already painted, some not........plus possibly graffiti and posters?

Good pieces of kit from Ironclad.........

Not part of the shanty town but they were such a good price from Ironclad and when is there ever enough crates and barrels?
