AVP: The Hunt Begins from Prodos Games, Captain Slackbladder is having a giveaway and........

My good friend Vinnie funded the kickstarter Aliens vs Predator from Prodos Games a couple of years ago and recently it has started being delivered. He has got his initial release of two complete sets of the board game and then got some of the extras he funded but included were two more of the complete boardgame as a bonus/freebie because of the long wait..........but to cut things short he sent me one!

23 resin miniatures, 15 aliens, 3 predators and 5 colonial marines plus , rules, cards, tiles,  etc...........

Captain Slackbladder is having a giveaway to celebrate a million hits, so he is trying to give crap good stuff away!

Added a catering department to the Orkmacht, those crazy orks who found some Victors, Warlord and Battle comics on a data slate while fecking up the galaxy and the WW2 German bug bit the orks and a blitzkrieg Waaagh hit the galaxy......

He's a 28mm Foundry figure with a plastic field kitchen to store the vittles, the cleaver is not only for preparing the foodstuff but for dealing with complaints (I remember my days in the kitchens, blood, sweat and anger), not the best pictures but you get the idea?

Ding Dongs, Twinkies......and The Painting Challenge

Received two blogging wins in the post last week and also have decided to enter the 4th Annual Analogue Hobbies Challenge  after a kind invite from Curt and even with my painting drought/malaise continuing but what the hell...........I have finished in the top ten twice I think but this time it will be in the top 40th or below if I'm lucky with the good job finished and finances stretched but let's see how it goes.........no sandbags here!

28mm ACW Foundry Confederate Cavalry and If Facebook existed during The American Civil War?

These 28mm Confederate boys are mine and are from Foundry Miniatures and were a joint venture between myself and Battleaxe Painting Service (Ray and Postie) back in the good old days, I'm working on some 2 page ACW skirmish rules adapted from some Postie used for an French-Indian wargame we had a while back!

I'm trying to remember what unit this is.........?

28mm Painted Hasslefree Grymm Walkers for 15mm Sci-Fi and......

Andrew"Loki" Saunders painted these figures for me after I won a competition prize on his blog for 5 historical miniatures to be painted for the winner, as you can see these are slightly not historical and Andrew was stupid kind enough to paint these favourite icons from the 2000AD comic that I read as a kid and still do occasionally ( a mate gives me his when he finishes reading them), it's not as good as it was but Dredd still rules.............
