15mm Painted Modern SUV Pick Up from......

.........Evil Bear Wargames.

Resin body with metal wheels.

Really crisp body, metal wheels could use some work though (nice and round but poorly molded hub caps and detail?) but were 3 for £10.

Have done a size comparison with the Peter Pig one and some 15mm figures as well!

I really do like the double cab and detail........

Peter Pig in the center.........

......and again!

15mm Modern Heavy "Juggernaut" Tactical Hardsuits........

.......from Evil Bear Wargames.

Been off the internet for nearly seven weeks due to maniac tractor driver and his ability to dig through cables and fecking unhelpful internet providers but shit happens, anyway that's why I haven't been around any blogs for a while and cheers to the many people who checked up on me during the mini crisis!

The figures are resin and are quality sculpts, very crisp, the only niggle for me was the very steep postage from the UK to Ireland, I understand it's only one packet but more than a couple of 100% mark up is hard to bear and I understand that if I don't like it I shouldn't order but if we all thought like that where would the hobby be?

They're still nice figures...........

28mm Painted AVP Predators, Colonial Marines and Aliens........

......from Prodos Games.

Received the AVP (Aliens vs Predator) boxset from a friend, he had received 3 from the kickstarter but while talking to him over the proceeding months he never seemed to have the painting time, so for his birthday I painted him the figures so he could game with a painted set!

Figures are resin, very light (I weighted the bases), good detail especially the predators, hard to clean and one ridiculous pose of a marine with his foot in the air (I molded some green stuff to at least make him stable!).

Poor pictures but the situation for the moment is causing some disruption!

Orkmacht Games Workshop Gretchin Crew from Forge World......

.........also known as Day of the Grots!

This is how Games Workshop describe Gretchin......

Gretchin mobs make up for their shocking lack of quality with sheer quantity. The natural cowardice and feeble-limbed incompetence of the Gretchin race does not predispose them to the arts of war, and a typical Grot would prefer to have his head buried in a sporehole than to actually participate in a proper battle.

For the meaning of a sporehole ask Ray, he has one!

Painted up a while ago for another project that stalled back in the day! They are also resin.......

28mm Painted Victorian Sci-Fi Tanks and Armoured Cars, adding to the Great Painters collection and.......

.....pimping Edwin!

Some nice pieces of resin and metal from Ironclad Miniatures for the Victorian (Steampunk and Pulp also) warfare shenanigans, two different forces............

28mm Copplestone figure for scale purposes........

Curt "Norse God" Campbell over at Analogue Hobbies has painted me a little piece of wargaming joy for my collection for something I did for him a while back and I've got to say it's cracking!

.........and Edwin over at Thoughts of a Depressive Diplomatist is having a competition and giving away books (which he also sells) but no picking the book on the Khyber Rifles as that's going to be mine!

15mm Gamecraft Miniatures Hesco Barriers......

....also called a Hesco bastion and is a modern gabion used for flood control and military fortifications, designed by a British company in the late 1980s and consisting of a collapsible wire mesh container with a heavy duty fabric liner.

They're nice pieces of resin kit from Gamecraft Miniatures, a few of the pieces don't have detail on one side but that's my only quibble with them, I've included a 15mm Peter Pig AK47 to show some scale and some real Hesco barrier pictures to give you an idea of what they are for those who've never heard of them.
