the idea behind PARTÍCULA as a netlabel was born out of the necesity of having a "place" where to deposit our own numerous electronic music works, projects, ideas, concerts or other (besides "publishing" works from our friends and collaborators of the Partícula Podcast at stress.fm).

so "prtcl_jam080517" is a small ep resulting from a jam with "amerruk sample pack", a series of sounds recorded and edited by verme while in Morocco. the result is an haunting and mysterious sound that combines views, cultures and ways of living.

Inspired by the old-school hip hop production techniques and the memories growing up in the suburbs, this work brings that flavour into the chilled and more futuristic sounds.

The city has now grown to engulf the suburbs as new sounds and synths make their way to do the same to those old hip hop beats.

Bitroot is a throwback that also looks further to see what lies ahead.
