Reunion is a 1989 jazz fusion album by vibraphonist Gary Burton, notably featuring his first studio collaboration with guitarist Pat Metheny in 13 years.

Background

The title refers to the professional reunion of Burton and Metheny, who originally worked together in the mid-1970s before Metheny left to form his own group in 1977. The project was inspired by a spontaneous 1988 performance together at the Montreal Jazz Festival.
