I got passion in my pants and I ain't afraid to show it

Another weekend looms - and we have a Zoom call with Mother this evening and the frenetic Eurovision Song Contest final tomorrow to look forward to.

Meanwhile, the weather continues on its shitty trajectory. Almost the end of May...and it's SLEETING out there. Harrumph.

To take our mind off it, let's wallow in some gratuitous totty photos, for - sharing the celebrations as he does with a motley crew that includes Ronald Isley (who is 80), Leo Sayer, Albrecht Dürer, Kay Kendall, Robert Montgomery, Judge Reinhold, Fats Waller, Gotye, Harold Robbins, Noel Fielding, Mutya Buena and Raymond Burr...

...it's my ultimate sex god Tom Daley's birthday today!!

And, to take our minds off the cold and gloom, here he is to wiggle his tush for our viewing pleasure - Thank Disco (and Speedos) It's Friday!

Have a good weekend, dear chums!

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle yeah!

It's the gorgeous Tom Daley's nineteenth birthday today...

Any excuse - on this grim and cold day - to let a bit of sunshine and uber-totty into our lives!

He's sexy. And he knows it.

Music à la mode

Time again for some more newer music that has caught my ear...

As the sunshine today makes us dream of Summer, so our first number is most appropriate. Insanely catchy - in fact just insane - this dancy number Skirts by Leeds-based "Brit-electro" band The Other Tribe does bring to mind pleasant thoughts of bopping in the middle of a field. The herald of another "Summer of Love", perhaps..?

Our own favourite Willy - Mr Young - has a new single, Losing Myself, due out on 18th March. The video is brilliant, and I can't wait to hear some remixes of the song...

Now here's a novel discovery - the most bizarre-looking Scandinavian dance diva Cazzi Opeia and her remarkably catchy My Heart in 2:

The Noughties' answer to the Beastie Boys, LMFAO have released the video for their latest single Sorry for Party Rocking, and it is another phantasmagorical epic - love it!

Among the teasers for her new album MDNA that Our Glorious Leader Queen Madge has been popping out this week, my personal favourite (appropriately enough) is the darkly electro Gang Bang. I can't wait for the album!

And finally, house favourite fierce rulin' diva here at Dolores Delargo Towers Luciana has a new single coming out. Her last smash Jump (with the Cube Guys) remains one of our anthems - and who can forget her collaboration with Betty White?. This time returning to her earlier partnership with Bodyrox, also featuring Chipmunk, and starring Boo the blue Staffie, it's Bow Wow Wow!

As always, enjoy! [As ever, let me know your thoughts.]

Sexy (And They Know It)

We went to a most fascinating lecture last night, all about the beautifully sexy Antinous, "favorite" of the Roman Emperor Hadrian and possessor of the best buttocks in antiquity - a true twink superhero, on his death he was created a God by his older lover and was idolised as such in iconic imagery across the Empire, and for millennia to come in art.

More on that later, no doubt. However, in an exceptionally tenuous link indeed, here's a perfect way to start your weekends off in a certain fashion...

Here are two interpretations of the party song of last year, first courtesy of the sexiest Olympic athlete of them all, diver Tom Daley (and friends):

And here are two (more) very sexy boys. I don't care what anyone says about them. Yes, they are mad, and irritating, and manic, and whatever - but my heavens, Jedward are Jexy And They Know It:

The screens, nurse! The screens!

Viva la Musica

It's time once more for a little update on the choons that have caught my attention of late!

And we open with what promises to be the next mega-smash across the world - the duet between the coolest of cool club girrrls Luciana (who I have featured here many times), and none other than the all-round-icon Miss Betty White!! I can't wait for the video, but here's the song...

It's not often that The Guardian becomes a source of inspiration in my eternal quest for new musical discoveries, but their recent feature on the exotically-named Zola Jesus and her forthcoming album Conatus certainly piqued my interest. And so it came to pass I discovered this slice of fabulosity - here's the magnificent Night from last year's Stridulum EP:

Next up, a rather classy little electro number by a fabulous band called Monarchy:

Moving up-tempo for a moment and towards club totty, here's one from DJ Tiesto (now confusingly calling himself Allure), with On The Wire, featuring the estimable - ahem - vocal talents of the rather cute Christian Burns:

And finally, this one I discovered courtesy of Gaydar Radio, and I was hooked straight away! Hilariously tongue-in-cheek, the latest from self-proclaimed "bad boys" LMFAO (incidentally the son and grandson of Motown record label founder Berry Gordy) has an equally sharp video - yes, boys and girls, I'm Sexy and I Know It:

As ever, enjoy!
