Restoran Onn Kee Claypot Seafood Porridge @ Imbi, KL, Malaysia

Came here a few times for lunch, dishes not bad. If you're in Imbi and fancy some sze char, can come check out this place.

Menu quite extensive, the steamed chicken was good.

We tried a couple of stuff on the menu, some are good some not bad. One thing for sure, you can't go wrong with the porridge. Oh by the way, the petai omelette(not in pic) is def a must order.

Kedai Makan Mun Kee Steam Fish Head @ The Nest @ Imbi, KL, Malaysia.

They opened up another branch here at The Nest @ Imbi. Came here for lunch to check it out.

Ordered two types of fish head with some steamed egg and greens. The other dish friend ordered from the Vietnamese stall. Food is good, what a perfect lunch it was.

Ipoh Hor Fun @ Restoran Pau Kee @ Imbi, KL, Malaysia.

Quick lunch around this area, decided to go this place for its Ipoh hor fun again.

No frills place, good for its Ipoh hor fun. Love the soup, portions are generous and it fixed my cravings.

Restoran Win Heng Seng @ Imbi, KL, Malaysia.

Another popular breakfast joint smack in KL city. One thing I like about this place, there are quite a few stalls selling different stuff here. Ranges from nasi lemak, wantan mee, kolok mee, hor fun, pastries, pork noodle, ccf, char koew teow and some other stuff.

Ordered a ckt this round, quite decent. Oh make sure you order a kopi too, they do a mean coffee here.

Restoran Jiang He @ Bukit Bintang, KL, Malaysia.

Fried chicken rice, or chinese style ayam penyet. When I got here, the banner outside was displayed only opens every monday, wednesday and saturday only. Must be good business three biz working days a week. I was informed previously was only two days a week!

Queue was pretty long but it goes by quite fast.

We stick to the basics, fried chicken, some tofu and taugehs.

The fried chicken was to die for, crispy on the outside and moist inside. They do a mean fried chicken here.

Love the tofu and taugehs here, awesome add on to my plate of chicken rice.

Simple comfort food. Definitely a star on my list. Too bad I gotta comply on the opening hours:/

Restoran Shun Fa @ Imbi, KL, Malaysia.

My first time here for hainanese chicken rice, love the place. Just go for the beansprouts and chicken.

Simple decor, it's all about the chicken.

Reminds me of the beansprouts from Ipoh.

If your craving for a Hainanese chicken rice, smack in KL city. I would personally recommend this place.

Kedai Makanan Soo Kee Mee @ Imbi, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This restaurant is famous for its noodles and some other sze char dishes. The sang hai mein in particular is a must order if you ever drop by this restaurant. Thankfully, after all this years, the quality and standard still remains top notch.

But this round we opted for the beef hor fun, paper wrapped chicken and some greens. The beef hor fun was silky smooth, generous portions of sliced beef which was very tender and yes, the wok hei is still there. The paper wrapped chicken was my other personal favourite, simply to die for.

Imbi Market @ Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Gosh, I wished I found this place sooner. So much glorious food!

Chee cheong fun galore again.

No complains here except when I ordered I had some mixed feelings whether to go for sweet + chilli sauce or curry. Asked the guy which one should I try, he said why not both combine. What a brilliant idea. Good stuff.

My friend ordered this wantan mee which was mended by a long hair indian guy (speaks good cantonese by the way)

Now I forgot how mean a KL poppiah can be. Delicious with nice crunchy bits, ordered from SisterS Crispy Poppiah.

I was sitting blindly, till this lady came and ask for drinks(a bit nazi, just don't dilly dally with her). Ordered a kopi ping, not too bad. Only later when I was googling for this place address I found out they serve good toast and eggs! Arghhhh definitely would be back to try the toast and half boil eggs.
Make sure you come in a bunch, so you can order and sample a variety of food.
