Basic Wine Store @ Arcoris, Mt Kiara, KL, Malaysia.

I've been intrigued for a long time about this cans of sardine and other seafood. In particular the ones from Portugal. Came across an article of this place and decided to check it out. I ordered a can of sardines and a bottle of red wine. Lovely, something different for a change. The sourdough bread soaks up the briny olive oil from the can nicely.

A few friends join later, we tried the octopus can and pasta. Food is good, service staff was excellent and friendly.

Vintry Damansara @ Damansara Heights, KL, Malaysia.

Came here for a quickie happy hour over some red wines, ended up having a scrumptious dinner.

First up was it the mamak mee goreng or maggi goreng, no difference. Good stuff, check out the greens on those, the only healthy ones I had for dinner.

Excellent, can't go wrong here. The fried rice below looks plain but packs a decent punch.

My personal favourite was the Hokkien mee. It was so good we ordered a second plate. Didn't know they serve awesome Asian food here. Something new I learn everyday.

Yeng Kee Noodle House @ Taman Yulek, Cheras, KL, Malaysia.

Ever since I had my first taste of noodle soup + chinese wine, I'm hooked. This place is well hidden, can't find a proper address on the net nor on its fb. You should be able to find it on google maps, just punch in Yeng Kee Noodle House.

They have a few types of meat for you to choose from, depends on what you're after. Broth I think all is the same, clear soup type.

You can order a bottle of chinese wine and park it in the restaurant for next usage. This place is seriously awesome, noodles in soup paired it with chinese wine, to die for. Oh and the coffee here is another killer.

No Menu Bar @ Boon Tat St, Singapore.

Good Italian food coupled with a casual dining, we headed to No Menu Bar for our dinner.  I kinda like the outdoor setting, remind me of the mamak coffee shop setup.

Complimentary starters, mini pizza.

A pepperoni pizza to share. I love it, the dough was just nice, ingredients top notch.

For greens, we opted for tomato salad. I'm on a tomato binge lately, can't get enough of it. Again, the portions here are huge, good stuff.

A carbonara to share, nicely executed. Only thing not pictured is the few carafes of house red, heh. The food here is good, it feels like a home cooked meal and the staff here is friendly, very very good service. I'll be back here as the food is wallet friendly and I like the setup, outdoor sitting chatting with friends watching the world passes by.

Pizzeria Mozza @ MBS, Singapore.

One of my favourites for a casual dining place for some pizzas and friendly on the wallet. Only problem is, better call for reservations as they can get packed.

Complimentary bread, crispy, lovely.

Goat cheese lentil, the cheese was executed with perfection, lentil was nice.

My favourite, oven baked bone marrow. Nicely cut and use a spoon to scoop it up. Sinfully delicious.

Avocado and cherry tomatoes, trying to be healthy:)

Now this was the bone marrow earlier on top of the bread. Killer!

Some cold cuts to share (we weren't planning on ordering this but after a bottle of red wine...). Nice selection and decently portioned.

Our first pizza was the meat lover pizza. Meat carnivore, pizza was thin crust, except on the edge puffed up. I kinda like this style of pizza. Generous portions for the fillings, and love the pizza dough.

Second pizza was funghi pizza. As always the pizza dough is lovely, but I reckon the toppings on this one was a bit too healthy. I'll stick to my meats. They served killer pizzas and without no doubt hence it's always packed.
