The Smokin' Pug BBQ @ Bangkok, Thailand.

We had a reservation at Crimson Room for drinks and some live band, friend brought us here for pre drinks dinner. Casual American style bbq walking distance from Crimson Room.

Ordered the usual bbq stuff, some mix platter. Damn this was a feast, there were five of us and the food was aplenty. Pretty decent bbq meats I must say, I really enjoyed it.

Beard Brothers BBQ @ Tropicana, PJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

Yeah yeah, been quite some time since I came here, carnivore overload! This post spans over two visits to this place. First visit we had two mains and one ramen to share.

Had the pulled lamb and brisket (not in pic). Top notch stuff although the portions were a bit small but thankfully the ramen filled us up. Ramen the whole was there, the onsen egg, the al dente noodles, a sheet of seaweed and beef bacon. The beef reminds me of biltong, yummy.

Now on my second visit, there was 3 hungry adults which devoured the whole platter above. Not sure which platter was it, but I added some sausages and extra briskets(divine!!!). Beef brisket, burnt ends, pulled lamb, sausages, ribs, chips, bun, coleslaw, cornbread and mash potatoes, absolutely smashing.

85 South @ Central, Hong Kong.

Last minute change of plans we ended here for dinner on a friday night, yes make sure you do your reservations in advance next time! But boy, luckily my friend picked a good place for some american southern style bbq.

Ok i gotta admit, i was a bit tipsy while waiting for them, so they did the ordering. Order from the counter, grab a sit, and they'll call your number once its ready, and you go pick it up. Thats bbq pork ribs on the right (yummy!), coleslaw(love it, just add some sauce on the table to your liking) and damn it, I forgot what's the thing on the left called, reckon some dog thingy thingy( doesn't help when you start your drinks at 4pm!), which is carbo loaded and taste damn good.

My mate had the same thing, except he changed the dog thingy to fries and added pulled pork. This place is a bit laid back and no frills place, did i mention they serve beer in a plastic red cup, aha, bring back some memories when i was at dorm partying with a bunch of people and having good food.
