Restoran Teochew Lao Er @ Pudu, KL, Malaysia.

First time coming here, went to check out the porridge.

They have set menu as well, but we opted for ala carte.

I opted for the fish porridge with some dishes to share. Very good stuff. A good place if you're craving for Teo Chew porridge.

Restoran Makanan Laut Sun Kam Kee @ Pudu, KL, Malaysia,

Back in ring road again for lunch and this time we checked out this sze char place called Restoran Makanan Lau Sun Kam Kee (not sure why google calls it Sin Kam Kee). As there was only three of us, couldn't order that many dishes to try. First up was the kam heong lala, nice!

Not sure what what style is this, steamed fish head with some spicy sauce with generous(more like mad, but really freaking good) cut chilli padi. My friend asked for extra chilli padi and voila. lol. Last dish was some greens just to call it a healthy lunch.

Beautiful lunch, next time bring more people to try other dishes.

Restoran Taste of Foochow @ Pudu, KL, Malaysia.

Came here for lunch with some mates(before can't dine in, oh how I miss dining out).

My friend had the red wine mee suah and I opted for the mee suah fish ball noodle soup. It's nice, haven't had mee suah for quite sometime.

Also ordered some mix fried stuff to share. Awesome.

Chen Tiang Fishball Noodles @ Kedai Kopi Sin Seng @ Pudu, KL, Malaysia.

What a hidden find this was, I pass by this road a few times, didn't notice it. A friend introduced this place for lunch.

Quite straight forward instructions lol.

Friend had the dry one above, I tried the spicy chilli below, which is not for the faint hearted. It was spicy! Also shared a bowl of ytf.

Lovely stuff, next round you're in Pudu can check it out.

Lian Jie Noodle House 莲姐 @ Pudu, KL, Malaysia.

This place serves quite a range of noodles but they are well known for their wine noodles.

Just look at those plumpy cockles in the curry mee. Prices here can be a bit on the high side but with portions like this, I'm not complaining. The bentong tau pok, slurps yummy.

That's the chicken wine noodle and I had the lala wine noodle below. Superb, what a beautiful lunch this session was.

Fish Soup Noodle @ Restoran Pudu Utama @ Pudu, KL, Malaysia.

Another unassuming joint for my fish noodles fix.

Today I opted for fish paste yee mee with milk. Good stuff and portions were decent.

Little Eat Stall @ Pudu, KL, Malaysia.

Back here again for the grouper slice fish soup noodle. Try avoid coming here peak hours, it can be long. Like super long waiting time. As there was four of us dining today lunch. We opted for a large communal pot with individual servings of noodles.

Good stuff, just simply awesome fish noodle soup.

Restoran Mun Kee Steam Fish Head @ Pudu, KL, Malaysia.

Finally managed to check out this place for dinner. What an utter delight.

Salted egg calamari which was crunchy addictive. Some greens to balance out the diet.

The fish head in their signature sauce, although it looks messy, this is one killer dish and a must order.

The other dish I loved that night was the fried chicken. If you're looking for a good tai chow / sze char for dinner, this would be a nice bet!

Teow Chew Steamed Hor Fun @ ICC, Pudu, KL, Malaysia.

I tried this before sampling from a friends plate quite some time back. Had a sudden craving for it and tapau back for lunch.

Oh my, boy did that hit the spot. Smooth hor fun drenched in a sweet sour tangy spicy sauce with slices of lemon and tomatoes. Sliced fish were decent portions too. Good stuff.

Kedai Kopi Hock Seng Hin @ Pudu, KL, Malaysia.

Old school sze char in Pudu, famous for their braised fish head? Time to check it out. Be warned though, the queue can be a bit intimidating and long. Best come here early say 1130am.

The fish head chopped into pieces and smothered in a rich addictive gravy. Mix the gravy with the white rice, ahhhh umami. Fish was fresh but be careful as it has quite a few of tiny bones.

Am just happy with just the fish head and white rice. Old school setting below.

Ordered some greens and below is the tofu soup. Not bad, something different, I kinda like the tofu soup.

Food was superb, good place for lunch minus the queue. This shop has been here for ages and people still queue for it, it tells something bout the food.
