The Islander Pub & Restaurant @ Koh Samui. Thailand.

Back here again this year and finally they're open and selling beers. The previous year I came so happened to be a religious day. The menu has a variety of western and local dishes.

I needed to load on some carbs so I went for the fried rice. And what's good to complement the meal is with some beers and some bloody mary to cure the hangover.

Place is super chilled back in the afternoon. Staff is attentive and friendly. The best part? Food is super yummy.

SIWA Latte Beach and Eatery by Lamai inn99 @ Koh Samui, Thailand.

Been having happy hour beers here almost everyday just chilling by the beach enjoying the stunning views. This round I'm having some Thai iced milk tea and an order of a spicy glass noodle with Vietnamese sausage.

Milk tea was good, the glass noodle salad was even more awesome. Can't go wrong dining here, amazing views of the beach. Not sure why they're not opened for dinners though.

Apple Food @ Koh Samui, Thailand.

Another decent lunch joint I managed to check out was this Apple food. It's not that far from all the main street bars on Lamai Beach. It's a small cafe looks like family run.

The menu is self explanatory, I went for the tom yam chicken soup. It may look pretty basic, but the flavours pack a punch. I reckon this trip in Koh Samui, one of the best meals I had was here.

Even though Lamai beach might be a bit quiet, but I like the vibe here. Gonna stay back around here next time I'm back and Apple food would be a regular visit for me!

I-Sky Corner @ Koh Samui, Thailand.

Went and check out this joint for lunch. Their menu is quite extensive, am sure can cater for everyone needs.

Ordered a Chang beer while waiting for my food. If I'm spoilt for choices, I'll normally just stick to thai basil chicken rice with a fried egg on top.

Love the basil chicken rice here. Portions were hearty and prices were affordable for Koh Samui standards. This place is a bit far from the main stretch of bars but trust me, worth to visit for a meal or two here.

Faria Halal Food @ Ko Samui, Thailand.

Back in Ko Samui after my last year trip, how I missed this island. Rustic chill out vibe. This round we went and check out Faria Halal Food.

They have like an economy rice section, pick your dishes with a plate of warm white rice. I'm more interested in the beef soup.

Oh yes, this definitely hits the spot. Superb broth, generous portions, hit it up with rice and sambal belacan, Heavenly.
