Went to Plaza Damas for lunch and this eatery caught my eye. Managed to scam my friend to check out this restaurant instead.

Jade’s Chicken (옥‘s Chicken) @ Toa Payoh, Singapore.
Fancy a Korean fried chicken but friendly on the wallet? Check out Jade's Chicken located in Toa Payoh.
Menu is pretty simple. I tapaued the original and sweet spicy version plus a bowl of jjajangmyeon.
Heavenly!!!
The noodle was just a nice portion of carbs.
The Korean fried chicken is pretty decent. No wonder a lot of good reviews of the original crispy chicken. They do it well here. I'm a sucker of sauces, so I'll go for the sweet spicy version. Next trip here I wanna try the soy sauce. The dipping sauce also is quite addictive. Good stuff.
Edited, got myself the soy sauce chicken and spicy chicken tenders.

Hamasho @ Desa Sri Hartamas, KL, Malaysia.
Quite a big bunch of us for dinner, we had our own private room to ourselves. Sake and food, absolutely smashing. I think they have two outlets in Desa Sri Hartamas, I went to the first floor branch, next to Mallar bistro on the ground floor.
You have to order the beef, beautiful. My favourite dish of the night.

Tokyo Kibou-Ken Ramen @ Kushiyaki Kuni @ Plaza Damas, KL, Malaysia.
So I walked past by this yakitori place and saw the Tokyo Kibou-Ken ramen being advertised. Not sure whether it's a partnership or a temporary pop up store. Decided to check it out next round I was here.
Went for the original and my mate ordered the spicy one. Not bad, I kinda like it. Portion was decent, broth was a bit light, so you won't get the jelakness. The spicy version tasted a bit weird, like a china la mian bowl or something. I'll stick to the original ramen.

Gumshara Ramen @ Sydney, Australia.
Friend told me to check out this ramen joint as I was here for a quick holiday. And seriously, I think you should too.
Top picture is the Meaty Tonkatsu ramen, they only serve 20 bowls of that per day. So die die we had to order it, to share of course. Good for carnivores, meat was tender pair it with the broth, good stuff.
Garlic tonkotsu ramen, superb. This stall definitely is a must eat list if you're a ramen fan and you're in Sydney.

Bari-Uma @ Elite Pavilion, KL, Malaysia.
Another ramen joint worth checking out if you're at Pavilion KL area.
Decided to try their chicken ramen which came with drummets.
Add on seaweed. Set lunch came with gyoza. We ordered some yakitori as well.
Ramen was good, actually the bowl was quite big, filled me up nicely. Would definitely come back here to try their other ramens.

Ippudo Pavilion @ KL, Malaysia.
Haven't had a ramen for a long time. Decided to check out Ippudo at Pavilion.
They have a set lunch, so the top pic was the appetiser.
Suffice to say it did cure my ravings for a ramen, it's good but I still find the Singapore branch does it better. I wonder how it taste like in Japan. One of my bucket list!
