"Keeps Our Team Connected and Projects Moving"
What do you like best about Slack?

As a web copywriter working closely with a project manager and designers, Slack is the communication hub that keeps everything flowing. Instead of endless email chains, we have quick conversations, share feedback instantly, and keep projects moving without delays.

I love how easy it is to jump into focused discussions. Channels help keep everything organized — from content approvals to creative brainstorming — and I can quickly scan what’s relevant to me. File sharing is super smooth too, especially when we’re reviewing drafts or updating campaign assets.

Slack is also great for staying connected while working remotely. Little things like emojis, GIFs, and message reactions make communication feel more human and less like another work task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

As helpful as Slack is, there are a few pain points:

Notifications can get overwhelming. If multiple channels get active at once, it’s easy to feel like you’re falling behind.

Important messages sometimes disappear in the noise. Threads help — but only if everyone remembers to use them.

Search isn’t always perfect. Trying to find that “one message with the link” from weeks ago can be frustrating.

Can feel distracting. When chats pop constantly while I'm writing, it can break my focus fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Innovative Messaging Tool That Streamlines Communication and Boosts Productivity"
What do you like best about Slack?

This is an excellent tool for instant messaging in the workplace. Channels and threads introduce a unique and innovative method for communication, which makes it much simpler to keep conversations organized. This structure greatly reduces the need for endless back-and-forth messages and helps limit the number of formal meetings. The platform also provides enterprise-level security features, such as SSO, and integrates smoothly with a wide range of tools, addressing nearly any requirement you might have. The integration of bots is another forward-thinking feature that enhances its functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

There isn’t much that comes to mind, but if I had to mention a downside, it would be that the messages can sometimes feel overcrowded. I think adding some AI features to help reduce the clutter could be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Team Management, But Pricing Limits Collaboration"
What do you like best about Slack?

Team management. One of the best things about Slack is that it gives me options to create different channels or projects and add the right people to each one. Everyone stays on the same page, and I don’t have to repeat updates or explain tasks again and again. Moreover, Slack allows integration with Google Drive, so I get instant notifications of any activity. Everything is simple to set up and use, making task management and communication very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The pricing. If I join someone’s workspace and don’t upgrade my account, Slack removes me after 60 days and asks me to upgrade to stay in the workspace. I find this inconvenient. If the channel owner or team manager has an upgraded plan, they should have control over who stays in the channel without requiring every member to upgrade individually. I’ve seen some freelancers face the same issue because they didn’t upgrade their accounts for various reasons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Communication and Effortless Collaboration with Slack"
What do you like best about Slack?

What I like best about Slack is its seamless communication flow and intuitive interface. It allows instant collaboration across teams through organized channels, direct messages, and integrated tools. The ease of use, quick setup, and ability to connect with platforms like Google Workspace and Zoom make it an essential part of daily operations. Its reliability and rich features help maintain strong communication and productivity across all teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

There’s nothing to dislike about Slack,it continues to be an essential communication tool that keeps teams connected and aligned. Its consistent performance, intuitive design, and integration capabilities make collaboration smooth and efficient across all levels of the organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Keeps Teams Connected and Productive"
What do you like best about Slack?

Slack makes team communication incredibly easy and efficient. The interface is intuitive, and channels help keep conversations organized by topic or project. I really like the integrations, we use it with tools like Azure and Datadog, and the notifications flow directly into the right channels, which helps us stay on top of incidents and updates in real time. File sharing, message history, and the ability to start quick huddles or calls directly within Slack make collaboration seamless. It’s also great that user management and permissions are straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Notifications can sometimes feel overwhelming if channels and mentions aren’t managed carefully. When multiple integrations, alerts, and team conversations happen at the same time, it can be hard to focus or keep track of what’s most important. It takes some discipline and good channel organization to avoid notification overload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Setup and Seamless Team Collaboration with Slack"
What do you like best about Slack?

Slack is easy to implement and can install and run the program in less than 30 minutes, opening and using it from computer or phone is possible for on-the-go work. Daily communication for daily work discussion, buzzing team using @mention tools and exchanging and transfer project data from Google Drive integration make it a perfect choice for project management. Another good things with Adobe is their customer support effectiveness in solving our issues with access denied problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

I found no issues with Slack. We use it as our main communicator and pretty satisfied with all the result and happy with how easy to implement it for work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"9+ Years In: Still the Best Team Communication Platform Out There"
What do you like best about Slack?

After using Slack for over 9 years, I honestly can't imagine working without it. The real-time communication has completely transformed how our team collaborates - no more endless email chains or waiting hours for responses. I love how everything is organized into channels, making it super easy to keep work conversations separate and searchable. The search functionality is a lifesaver when I need to find that one message from months ago. Plus, the integrations with tools like Google Drive, Zoom, and project management apps have made it the central hub for everything we do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Honestly, there aren't many downsides, but if I had to pick something, it would be the notification overload when you're part of multiple active channels. Sometimes it can get a bit overwhelming, especially during busy days. I've also noticed that the mobile app can drain battery pretty quickly when you're actively using it throughout the day. The pricing can also be a bit steep for smaller teams or startups, though I think it's worth it for the value you get. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Team Collaboration, But Desktop App Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about Slack?

Slack is the best team project management tool I have used, allowing me to manage multiple projects and teams within a single app. It works seamlessly across different devices, and I can communicate without confusion—whether chatting privately or creating various groups. Collaborating with team members is efficient, even when we are not physically together, which makes Slack extremely valuable for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The desktop application does not function properly. While it works better on the web, it still requires frequent reloading, which is quite frustrating. There should be a dedicated Ubuntu system application that does not log out repeatedly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boosts Team Communication, But Channel Overload Can Be Distracting"
What do you like best about Slack?

Slack improve day-to-day communication between teams, the Slack chat channel keep chat history easy to find and the separation keep every team conversation private and confidential just for the participant. Loved how the integration with Todoist keep our daily task in-line, no missing task and task progress is automatically updated in the chat. Using Slack everyday from different devices like work laptop and personal phone is possible because of their easy implementation to install the program on several devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Joining too many channel can jammed the notification center, especially if many of the channel has active users that keep spamming for new chat all the time. A smart notification thankfully able to solve this issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
