1/144 USAF B-1B Lancer - Doyusha

Full length: approx 311mm.
Full width: approx 290mm.

- B-1B boasts a beautiful style blended smoothly with the fuselage from the main wing called Blended Wing Di via the inner wing portion.
- In recent years, subject to tension of the circumstances around the Korean Peninsula, there are many times that they fly from the Andersen Air Force Base in Guam.
- Please make this beautiful variable wings big bird B-1 B Lancer by all means.

- Model total length 311 mm, full width 290 mm. Number of parts is 88 points or more.

- Variable wings do not interlock with each other, but they can be opened and closed.
- Weapons can hold a lot of bombs. The door of the weaponry store is a selective opening and closing type.
- The front leg door and the main foot door are open and close selection type.
- There are three kinds of markings, a decal that can reproduce the marking of the US Air Force bombing squadron.

1/144 Rockwell B-1 Lancer - Doyusha (Dragon)

1/144 Rockwell B-1 Lancer - Doyusha (Dragon)

It is not clear if this will be a pre-painted kit or a pre-assembled  item?

it's part of Doyusha's "凄!" (Sugo!) (Eng trans: Amazing!) brand model kits. They did 1/72 kits of the Phantom, Super Hornet, Strike Eagle over the past year or so.
The gimmick or draw of these kits are that they are snap-fit and pre-colored. Pre-colored in that the plastic is somewhat close to the main color of the aircraft. It's not pre-painted. Also, the kits are provided with sticker sheets and water-slides for the markings. Sticker sheets for the kiddies who just want to snap it together. Water-slides for the more serious kit builders.
The poster suggests that this a brand new mold. So it does not look to be a rebox of the Dragon kit.

Maybe more information will come following: The 58th All Japan Model Hobby Show
To be held from 28th to 30th September has been approached. (Please see the event page for the summary of the event.)

http://www.doyusha-model.com/2018hobbyshow_tokyo/2018hobbyshow_1.html

The Rockwell B-1 Lancer[N 1] is a supersonic variable-sweep wing, heavy bomber used by the United States Air Force. It is commonly called the "Bone" (from "B-One"). It is one of three strategic bombers in the U.S. Air Force fleet as of 2018, the other two being the B-2 Spirit and the B-52 Stratofortress.

The B-1 was first envisioned in the 1960s as a platform that would combine the Mach 2 speed of the B-58 Hustler with the range and payload of the B-52, and would ultimately replace both bombers. After a long series of studies, Rockwell International (now part of Boeing) won the design contest for what emerged as the B-1A. This version had a top speed of Mach 2.2 at high altitude and the capability of flying for long distances at Mach 0.85 at very low altitudes. The combination of the high cost of the aircraft, the introduction of the AGM-86 cruise missile that flew the same basic profile, and early work on the stealth bomber all significantly affected the need for the B-1. This led to the program being canceled in 1977, after the B-1A prototypes had been built

1/144 AH-64 Apache Longbow (cont.) vol.18 Doyusha

1/144 AH-64 Apache Longbow (cont.) vol.18 Doyusha
Doyusha are continue to pump out kits from thier existing molds and just repainting them.

Whilst this would appear to be a sucessful strategy (well, they keep doing it) it can be a little dull and tedious. The last time these were issues in Feburary 2008, there was a RAH-66 Comanche as the special, it is interesting to not that Vol.18 for April 2011 does not currently mention a special!?

This time around, it is the turn of the AH-64 Apache Long Bow to be dusted off and pushed out for another series. At least if you bought the previous sets there will be no shocks involved?

1. JGSDF No. 74 510
2. U.S. Army
3. Singapore Air Force
4. Hellenic (Greek) Army
5. The Israeli Air Force (IAF/IDF)
6. Kuwaiti Army

This year from Doyusha we have had
1) Blue Impulse T-4 (Regular 2010) Modern Fighter Collection N.13

1/144 T-4 JASDF Jet Trainer - GIGA Pro (update)

Air World Collection Vol.1 by GIGA Pro

You can see for yourself this is a range of T-4 Jet Trainers for the JASDF and is the same aircraft as used by the Blue Impluse Acrobatic display team as used in the recent Doyusha release.... see previous post for T-4 Blue Impulse Team

It would appear however that these are not the same molds as the Doyousha/Dragon release!
It will be interesting then to see if or what GIGAPro release next? (F-14,F-15 or F-4? ha ha!)

This GIGA Pro "Air World Collection - Vol.1", will have 9x T-4 in various colour markings, plus 2x special colour options?

1/144 JASDF Blue Impluse Display Team - Doyusha (Dragon)

To celebrate the 50 anniversary of the creation of the "Blue Impulse" Acrobatic Display Team, doyusha are releasing this special 6 aircraft display team.

The stands, must be noted of interest. It it mentioned that with these stands and combination of the aircraft it is possible to recreated all the formaitons of the "Blue Impuse" Actobatic Display Team.
It is though the stands may come with two display height options and with 360 Degree pivoiting heads.

There is no expectation for a Series Special, unless there was a one time historical aircraft? It would be hard to see how you could have special item on this series?

Depending on your view this is either brilliant or formulaic? Probably a very sucessful release in Japan.
If they could do this for other Acrobatic Display Teams of the world, it could be cool? RAF Red Arrows, USAF Thunderbirds,
Patrouille Suisse, Russian Knights?

Interestingly, this is still a "blind set" series so there will be trading required to get the full set
.

Cost: 600 Yen (each Item)

1/144 JASDF F-15DJ 'Aggressors 2010' - 1/144 JASDF Can.do(Doyusha) F-15DJ 'Aggressors 2010' (update)

Well what can i say!?

Although these look like early prototype models, the paint schemes look a lot like the Tarkara series, and just not as nice?

Judging by the comments on the 8-Bee blog the special isnt that special, and the price is inching up!?

Price: 600 Yen (each item)
