F-Toys Wing Kit Collection Vol.13 - F-Toys

F-Toys Wing Kit Collection Vol.13 - F-Toys
I don't know what the theme is across this release unless its some form of 'early birds' - it's not being marketed as an extension or part to to WKC Vol.7...

We are however promised 'new molds' for some of the types previously issued by other manufacturers, and as you can see also have some new types to pick up.

1/144 FW-190 A-8/A-9
MKM14421   Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8/A-9 (2in1 = 2 kits in 1 box)
(Luftwaffe)

The Focke-Wulf Fw 190, designed in 1938, was a versatile German single-seat aeroplane which became the backbone of the Luftwaffe’ fighter force during WWII. Except its main role as a day fighter (A-series) it was also used as a fighter-bomber and ground-attack aircraft (F models). It was an all-metal monoplane powered by a BMW 801 radial engine.

The Fw 190A-8 was the most numerously built variant, which production reached nearly 1400 machines. The A-9 was the last A-model produced and was fitted with a more powerful engine and a bubble canopy.
Tha armament remained similar to that fitted to the previous variants, i.e., two fuselage machine guns and four cannons in the wing roots and outer wings, while a drop tank could also be fitted beneath the fuselage.

Both variants took part in the final stages of air war over Germany, hopelessly defending the remnants of the Third Reich

Colour schemes included in the kit:
1)   Fw 190A-8, Red 1, Hans Dortenmann, 2./JG 54, Luftwaffe, Vélizy-Villacoublay Air Base, France, June 1944
2)   Fw 190A-8, Blue 17, IV./JG 54, Luftwaffe, Berlin area, Germany, May 1945
3)   Fw 190A-8, Red 11, Dieter Göthel, 10./JG 301, Luftwaffe, Dresden-Heller Air Base, Germany, January 1945
4)   Fw 190A-9, Yellow 5, 3./JG 5, Luftwaffe, Germany, spring 1945

This injection-moulded kit contains 14 parts, 1 clear part (the cockpit canopy) and 1 resin part (the cockpit interior). A comprehensive instruction leaflet and a decal sheet are included.

Available for Pre-order at http://www.kits-shop.com/index.php  (run by Miniwing) and free worldwide shipping (November 2013)

1/144 Bf-109 and FW-190s from MARK I Models

1/144 Bf-109 and FW-190s from MARK I Models

There are two kits with decals in each box so two complete models can be made.
These were originally Eduard kits that have now been improved with resin cockpits and Mark I decals.

The decals are nice, though the kits are quite basic by modern standards. I am not sure when they were released but there are reviews from 2000, they actually seem to have a passing resemblance to the standard of the  recent Zvesda war gaming kits as they do not have cockpit cavities...

1/144 Ju-52 Decals by Print Scale

1/144 Ju-52 Decals by Print Scale
I thought I had featured this company before, maybe it was on the KG144 BBS?
Print Scale Decals based in Russia are quietly expanding their range of 1/144 decals and are definitely worth a strong consideration when it comes to deciding what scheme you are going to paint your next kit or repaint and existing gashapon! The review for the larger scales are positive and their use of colour and registration id well executed.

1/144 F-Toys Select Vol.1
A curious new release is coming to light from F-Toys, currently I don't think it will set to many peoples world alight, but for some collectors who have to have every X or Y should be in for a treat!?

We may need to wait until we see a) any further images, b) clearer images, I say this as some look like the alternate decals from the original issues, others either perhaps not, or I don't have the kits to check.

1-144 F-Toys Wing Kit Collection Vol.8

1-144 F-Toys Wing Kit Collection Vol.8 (update)

Obviously, I like the FW-190, although not a great photo the paint schemes sadly look a little familiar from Takrara & Bandai? The P-51B could be the wild card here as there is a great looking RAF P-51B (Mustang III) and, meh! - Every Zero looks the same to me :)

FW-190 D-9  - is that a JV44 FW-190 (again)?

1/144 JU-88 Mistel Kit G-1 for FW-190

1/144 JU-88 G-1 Mistel Kit for FW-190 (Ref# P-90002)

Although being sold by ekidult on Ebay, there is a suspicion that these is this is a form of releasing the Aviation Model Mistel as it shares the same reference serial as the AM FW-190?

The kit com with enough components to build a complete aircraft with a number of options based substitution of the aircraft nose.

Without doubt you will be able to build the JU-88 G-1 version with BMW201 (as supplied)

The kit however is an nice looking and is well formed. It will look good when completed and an interesting subject for a diorama or shelf display.

Whilst intended for a Fw-190 (not supplied) you maybe be able to adapt for others?

It comes with a range of nose (2x warheads and 1x cockpit), so you will have some spare parts........

Based upon the input from Petersplanes on KG144 BBS if you buy some additional F-Toys Ju-88's you can build arange of Mistels - I recommend looking at John's Mistel Site for options?

1/144 FW-190a - Takara GiMIX

Is this the next WOTL series that has been missing for so long (since Tomy took over Takara?)
Well, maybe not..., but it is a start!

Looks like nice repaints of the WOTL Fw190.

That fact they look like they maybe produced is hopefully the start of something new??

They appear to be part of the Takara GiMIX ranges, so hopefully we can expect some tricks ...
maybe motors for props? (or they could be issued with a desktop spinner? as per the two special edition WOTL?)
