1/144 MAZ-541 Heavy Duty Tractor - Armory (Update)

1/144 MAZ-541 Heavy Duty Tractor - Armory (update!)

I can't quite work out if it looks like something from a Gerry Anderson Series such as Thunderbirds, or a squashed American Hot-Rod?

Anyway, this beast is a 38 Litre V-12 4x4 Heavy Duty Tractor, with 3 seats and dual driving positions!

It is a kit, not a solid built piece and comprises resin body, internals, steering wheels and road wheels; clear vacform windows; plus a sheet of PE detailing for the grill work.( see KG144BBS for more info)

My only gripe is it does not appear to have any glazing and has solid windows?

1-144 Eastern Express (selected) 2012 Releases

1-144 Eastern Express (selected) 2012 Releases
Eastern  has been busy over 2012 issuing a number of kits featuring aircraft produced by Russian manufacturers!

Antonov AN-12B (the Russian "Hercules")
Antonov AN-30B
Antonov AN-24/RT

I have already featured the Eastern Express Helicopter releases this year see ( Mil Mi-26 'Halo' ) ( Mil Mi-8MT/Mi-17 ).

I seem to have over looked the Tu-134 UBL (Trainer for the Tu-160 Bomber for which there are a number of  kits and upgrades). Any one interested in the Tu-134 should also look at the "small stuff conversions" for the Zvezda Tu134 (review)

More info on A-Model kits can be found here:
