Yes, I know. Another J-20, this time from Trumpeter.
To be honest, you can't blame a Chinese manufacturer issuing kits of these new Chinese Jets. The domestic Chinese market for these items must be comparable for the Japanese obsession with JSDF and the Brits with the need for V-Bombers and TSR-2s!   I can't determine if "Black Ribbon" is another name for the J-20, or Trumpeters Kit Range?

To be fair, this was highlighted back in August on KG144 Blog (seems like so long ago) and appears due for release now on 16th November 2012.

I am not sure if the "Black Ribbon" is a variant on the "Mighty Dragon" etc type names?

Dragon are treating the 1/144 modeler very well this year, first the Chinese J-20, and now the 'Stealth Black Hawk' used in the recent raid in Pakistan.

Well, not one but now two J-20 kits in 1/144!

Following the resin kit from Foxone, designed to meet a deadline for the Winterfest Hobby Show.

The big boys in the form of Dragon Models have now waded in and announced the their own plastic injection. It will be interesting to see how the two kits compare, and if Dragon have been given any inside information?

Completely new molds!!!

1/144 Chengdu J-20 Stealth - Foxone

Foxone has created a WinterFestival 2011 Show special edition in the form of the recently revealed Chinese Stealth Fighter.

The Kits is not as complex as the usual Foxone kits, due to the speed of creation and the target of the Winterfest Availability. But, if you want to be the first on your block / club to have one... its a great start.

The J-20 photos only leaked out late in December 2011, so to have this available by the End of January is quite cool. It may even be the first J-20 kit to be released since December in any Scale!?
