This is a new 1:144 WWII German 88mm Flak 18/36/37 Crew in Anti Tank Role (Heer) from the new Authentic Soldiers series of CGD. This set contains 7 German 88mm Flak 18/36/37 Crews in various poses, fully painted in Heer uniforms. Accessories of 88mm shell crates, stand alone shells and spent casings included.

FINALLY, a decent crew to man your collections of "Acht-acht"!!

Modelled according to average Caucasian of height 5' 8" to 5' 10" (1.73m to 1.78m). Figure measures approximately 12mm when standing upright. Highly detailed, highly realistic and in real human proportion. NOT big headed cartoon-ish wargame figures! (Also available unpainted)

1/144 CM11 Brave Tiger Main Battle Tank - Strategist

1/144 CM11 Brave Tiger Main Battle Tank - Strategist

The CM-11 was a Taiwanese creation that evolved the American-made M48 Patton series (in particular the M48H production model) of main battle tanks even further.

The M48 has her origins in a 1951 requirement. Seeing production begin in 1952 and being formally designated in 1953. Production ran up to 1959 with some 11,700 examples delivered. However, like the M48 before it, the armor protection afforded to the internal systems an crew of the CM-11 Brave Tiger leave something to be desired against the new wave of main battle tanks and man-portable anti-tank killing systems.

The CM-11 “Brave Tiger” was born in 1990 by upgrading the family line with a modified M48A2 turret and newer M60 Patton mail battle tank hulls. The turret fitted a 105mm main gun, an advanced fire control system, stabilized sights, ballistics computer and thermal imaging. In many ways, this modernization of the aged M48 brought the Taiwanese version on par with the newer M60 Patton while incorporating some elements of the advanced American M1 Abrams in the process. Accuracy was improved by way of a joined imaging and target system as well as dual-axis stabilization for target tracking and firing on the move. There is a 7.62mm machine gun on a pintle mount outside of the commander’s cupola hatch. Like the base M48, the CM-11 is crewed by four personnel made up of the driver (seated front, center in the hull), the gunner, loader and commander. The commander sits to the right of the turret, just behind the gunner, while the loader is to his left.

Power is supplied through a General Dynamics AVDS-1790-2C series diesel engine developing 750 horsepower. This allows for a top speed of 30 miles per hour on ideal surfaces and a reported (somewhat optimistic) range of 311 miles. Armor is 5.63 inches (143mm) at its thickest. Total weight is said to be around 49.2 tons (or 50,000kg).

Available: Now, in 2x Colour Options!

M25 Tank Transporter ' Dragon Wagon' - Strategist

M25 Tank Transporter ' Dragon Wagon' - Strategist
(Consisting of the M26 Tractor Truck and the 40-ton Semi trailer M15)
Strategist have just announced their most impressive product to-date, a assembled and painted M25 Dragon wagon. It  has excellent detailing and  fantastic array of articulated parts, in fact the more you look at the level of detailing and the parts which can be repositioned the more impressive this item becomes. Clearly, $60 is not loose change. I do think it is value for what you are getting, as it is actually cheaper than the Matuo Kasten Dragon Wagon resin kit which you still have to build and paint. It is good to see that Strategist is still producing some interesting designs with a level of detail that is exceptionally fine for this scale.

Material: PU, ABS, Alloy
Product characteristics:
1. The machine gun on the tractor unit cabin can be independently rotated.
2. Windows on the crew cabin have been cut out to reveal interior detailing:
    a) With the drivers windows are also provided with the armoured shutters raised with support struts in-situ, and
    b) The crew shutters lowered as was common practice.
3. The crew cabin superstructure is removable to reveal interior detailing.
4. A detailed jib crane with chain hoist is provided on the tractor truck and is also:
    a) Detachable,
 b) Movable.
5. The rear A-Frame is repositionable to allow for it to be:
    a) Raised allowing the tractor unit to be used for light recovery work on the battlefield, or
    b) Lowered to allow the semi-articulated trailer to be docked for tank transportation.
6. Further detailing on the tractor unit includes:
    a) Dual winch system, with handling gear,
    b) Acetylene and oxygen tanks,
    c) Suspension and drive detailing,
    d) Lighting systems,
    e) Pioneer tools,
    f) Exhaust stack,
    g) Independent rotating wheels.
7. Furthermore, the semitrailer is also presented with the same exceptional quality and accuracy provides the following detailing:
    a) The trailer mates with the tractor unit by means of a towing coupler allowing it to be freely positioned as required,
    b) Detailed loading deck and ladder construction is demonstrated,
    c) Axles are exposed and detailed,
    d) Side stowage bins are fully represented,
    e) The rear loading ramps are articulated, and can be raised or lowered,
  f) Independent rotating wheels.
