8.5x5.5 mixed media (watercolor, ink, Montana acrylic marker) on Bienfang sketchbook for day 26 of Leslie Saeta's 30 in 30 challenge that ends soon. This young Jersey heifer is sticking out her tongue at everyone today but she is happy the challenge is almost over. Red Montana marker is the background color of a barn.

Funky Cow
11x14 mixed media over older failed mm/collage on matboard, drawn with black felt tip pen. I used watercolor, acrylic, and ink. A lot of the background had other colors that I rubbed and lifted out. I took a photo of a large, life size fake ceramic cow found in a flea market in Ruidoso and that's what this Holstein is drawn from. There is some text stamping and handwritten words I did also in the background. This was my effort today for WetCanvas weekend drawing event where I am the host.

Keep Cows Weird
5.5x8.5 watercolor and ink (Pigma Micron 01 pen) on Masters Touch sketch book done last night, one of two painted while out of town for the weekend. Drawn from life, I used a small figurine cow then made up the flowers in this contemporary cow vignette art.
