Silverware and Utensils still life

7.25 x 11 mixed media collage on matboard completed a few days ago.  Sketched in colored multilead pencils, collaged text is put in with ink lines, watercolor, and Derivan Matisse matte acrylic added in this kitchen still life.  Look closely and you can see china plates, pizza cutter, spatula, etc.

Silverware or Whose Turn is it to Empty the Dishwasher?

7.25 x 11 inches mixed media on matboard covered with gesso, toilet seat tissue covers, newsprint. Watercolor, colored pencil, Caran D'Ache, India ink, black fine tip Sharpie were media used. I like how the gesso gives an impression of dishes back behind the silverware. Newsprint included words about food; this piece was entered into a weekend competition on WetCanvas online.
