Prop Store – one of the world’s leading film and TV memorabilia companies – has today announced results from its

December 2021 live cinema poster online auction, with posters and artwork on offer fetching more than £384,968 ($508,158). Prop Store’s first two-day Cinema Poster Live Auction took place on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th December 2021 and was suitable for fans with a variety of budgets, with lots selling between £50 and £42,500.

ORIGINAL INDIANA JONES MEMORABILIA TO BE AUCTIONED IN HOLLYWOOD


Original Harrison Ford “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” signature fedora, is among other original “Indiana Jones” props & memorabilia, to go under the hammer in upcoming Los Angeles auction



Harrison Ford’s signature Indiana Jones fedora from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) is estimated to sell for between $150,000 – $250,000 (£105,900– 176,600) as part of Prop Store’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction on Tuesday 29th June, Wednesday 30th June and Thursday 1st July 2021, featuring a collection of film memorabilia worth over $6.1 million (£4.4 million)


    A production-used clapperboard from Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) is estimated to sell for between $10,000 – 15,000 (£7,000 – 10,600)


    Over 1,300 unique and original items to be made available to bidders in one of the world’s largest live auctions of film and television memorabilia

Many of the fantastic lots from the Feref Archive and Bryan Fuller collection sold exceptionally well, along with some great results from many of the Star Wars and Mondo posters. We saw some excellent bidding from across the globe and can’t wait for our next poster auction in December.”

 

Mark Hochman, Prop Store’s poster expert, also commented on the auction: "Prop Store's April poster auction proved to be a special event and more successful than we could have hoped for in the current circumstances with Part One of the Feref Archive Collection proving incredibly popular and very well received. There were certainly some impressive sale prices achieved across the whole auction with the Bryan Fuller Collection and Alternative Movie Poster content smashing our pre-estimate valuations. PROP STORE NEWS: Incredible Collection Of Horror Posters Going Under The Hammer In UK Auction

 


INCREDIBLE COLLECTION OF HORROR POSTERS & RARE ARTWORK GOING UNDER THE HAMMER IN UK AUCTION



The over 490-lot auction features over 75 posters that have come directly from the collection of well-known US producer and writer Bryan Fuller, best known as the creator of many popular television series including Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls, Pushing Daisies, Hannibal, American Gods, and co-creator of Star Trek: Discovery.


The collection features titles from horror classics including Frankenstein (1931), The Wolf Man (1941), A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), notably an Australian One-Sheet poster from John Carpenter’s Halloween (1979) which is widely considered the best non-US poster artwork estimated between £800 - £1,200 ($1,101 - 1,652).


A collection of over 200 posters from the archive of award-winning creative agency, Feref, including original transparencies, negatives and one-of-a-kind prints from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), Halloween II (1981) and many more.


The auction is taking place on Thursday 22nd April 2021 and bids can be placed online and by telephone from anywhere in the world.

On their way home from a party in eastern Europe, sisters Abi and Lily get lost. With no signal and an unreliable GPS, they try to navigate their way out using road signs. Soon they discover that this is no ordinary forest and there is a reason no cars come up here, for the locals know of what lives deep in the woods and if they’re woken, there is nowhere to run.
