The canvassing board in Minnesota has finally tallied the votes and the winner is...Al Franken! By 225 votes! Thank you God, and please let him bring his brand of humor to the senate floor where it is so desperately needed. I cannot wait for his first Daily Show appearance after this. How much you want to bet that Jon Stewart calls him Senator Smalley?

Doggone It, People Like Him!

We still haven't found out who won the Senate race in Minnesota between Al Franken and Sen. Norm Coleman. There is a recount going on and a judge just ruled that Coleman couldn't block the count of 32 absentee votes from a heavily Democratic county (32, people, 32!). This is going to be close.

If you can't stand the suspense, watch some old Stewart Smalley on SNL or read Franken's "Lies and the Lying Liars that Tell Them." HIGHLY entertaining, I promise.
