A Face For Freedom
Every person on this planet deserves a voice and a chance for democracy. I really hope this works for them. It would be amazing to have a fully democratic nation in the Middle East. Imagine if this were you. Instead of taking your freedom for granted, you just hope that you might see it in your lifetime.

Pure Joy
I am sending this picture out to my friend Mandrake who is not feeling so well right now. You know that I love you. And I know that you can ride out the storm. Big kiss.
The Pens won on Tuesday and just look at the crowd's reaction to Talbot's goal. I love the two little kids on the upper left with their little "holy crap!" expressions and the blow-up doll face on the chick at the far right. There is nothing like an arena full of thousands of screaming fans.

Lebron Three Pointer Buzzer Beater
For the three of you who haven't seen it yet.
Here's hoping they figure out another way to beat the Magic or this season will go down in history as one of the biggest disappointments in Cleveland sports, and that is saying A LOT!

Lost Generation or Generation of Hope?
Whoever created this AARP ad deserves an award, if they haven't already.

T.I.'s Road to Redemption
T.I. may be an extremely popular entertainer but in a month he will be serving time for weapons possession, and as a felon that could carry a 30 year sentence. He made a deal to shrink that time down to a little over a year if he completes 1,000 hours of community service and mentors 7 young people in trouble. MTV has filmed a documentary showing those seven kids and I, for one, am hoping that he makes a difference in their lives and keeps them out of jail and on the right path.
I realize that this is something that T.I. has to do to minimize his time in prison but that doesn't change the fact that he acts like he really cares. I hope he continues this work once he gets out of jail and back to his life of fame and wealth. Only time will tell.
Here is a scene from his dealings with self proclaimed hustler PeeWee, and how the kid reacts to a visit to the morgue.

New Hope
Bone marrow transplants could cure AIDS? I don't want to get my hopes up but read this article and judge for yourself. If only this could have come sooner.
