Be Merry Card by November Guest Designer Kelly Latelova

Hello Crafters! 

Happy Monday! 

It's been a crazy weekend here. 

It rained for 16 hours straight and then conveniently turned into a smallish blizzard. 

Ohio weather, Honestly. 

Since we were having such fantastic winter weather I was feeling a bit more in the Christmas spirit. 

How could I not be with these adorable Santa Paws looking me in the face?!

First I wanted to show you that I did not actually ruin my Stencil with last week's glimmer paste lol. 

It worked perfectly to create a night sky for this card. 

I laid down a light layer of distress ink then laid the stencil on and covered it with a heavier layer of the same colors. This tone on tone look is simple but really creates a lot of interest. 

The second thought was to stick with traditional Christmas colors and effortless coloring. Usually when I color I use 4 colors. Not this time. 

It was actually really hard for me to keep it to two markers haha! 

However, I know not everyone has the markers I have so I wanted to show you that you can still get awesome results without  crazy amount of markers. 

I loved pairing the Christmas Delivery with this Santa Paws. I think they make such a cute scene for a playful Christmas card! Don't you?

Beautiful Holiday Wreath Card by Lydia

Beautiful Wreath by Lydia!

Today I'm sharing this really awesome leaf card by Lydia!  Lydia used the small bold leaf stamp from the Falling into Autumn stamp set.  She stamped all those pretty leaves overlapping in a circle to create a fun and festive wreath. Then she added on red dots with copic markers. Such a fun idea! The sentiment "be merry" and the little holly leaf are from the Christmas Delivery set and they add just the perfect finishing touch along with some gold splatters! Here's an image of the set she used - You can see it's really meant for Autumn but I love the idea of using it for Christmas too!

Nichol created this adorable shaker card using our cut little Christmas Delivery Stamp set! I love how the sparkly clear and sliver sequins make it look like the dog and cat are headed through a beautiful, sparkly blizzard!! Her coloring is amazing too - check out all the detail - with the little dots on the cheeks and the texture on the kitty!

Embossed Christmas card with Lydia!

I just love it when Design Team members come up with ideas that I never would have! This beautiful card by Lydia  uses the pretty "from our family to yours" sentiment from our Flaky Family stamp set and the cute little holly leaves from our Christmas Delivery set. I love how she stamped that little holly image over and over in rows and created a really beautiful embossed background! What a great idea! and the little gemstones for the holly give it that special finishing touch!
