Deepest Wishes Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Deepest Wishes

Today we are diving deep with inspiration from Tatiana, who has created an underwater scene complete with a kitty mermaid!

To create this card she started by coloring the kitty mermaid from our Purr-maid Newton Stamp Set. She colored the sweet image in gorgeous hues of purple and teal and added white gel pen accents. The image was cut out using the coordinating Purr-maid Newton Die Set. She also colored fish, seashells and seaweed to add to her scene using the Purr-maid Newton Stamp Set and Scuba Newton Stamp Set. Everything was cut out with the coordinating Purr-maid Newton Die Set and Scuba Newton Die Sets. 

To create the gorgeous background she used distress inks in purples and blues, adding lots of water splatters and colored and white splatters too. Then she created a "tunnel" pattern using our Oval Frames Die Set to cut the layers. She used dimensional adhesives in different thicknesses to achieve the fun 3D look without too much bulk.

Let's be Mermaids Card by Amanda Wilcox

 

Dreaming of Being a Mermaid!

Do you ever dream of being a mermaid? This kitty does! This adorable card by Amanda is perfect for sending a summer smile to someone who loves mermaids, or kitties, or both! 

For this fun card she features the kitty mermaid from our  Purr-maid Newton Stamp Set. She colors the kitty in neutrals and gives the mermaid tail fun bright shades of green with added sparkle! She also stamped and colored several of the little fish, some from the same stamp set and from the Scuba Newton Stamp Set. Everything was cut out using the coordinating Purr-maid Newton Die Set and Scuba Newton Die Set.

Next, she created a fun undersea scene for them to swim in using our Sea Borders Die Set. She cut waves out in several colors of cardstock and layered them together. Then she cut the whole panel out using the rounded rectangle from our Frames & Flags Die Set. What a fun way to create a wavy backgroud.

She added the mermaid and all the fish into the sea scene and then added the sentiment "Let's be mermaids" from the Purr-maid Newton Stamp Set onto a bubble cut out using our Speech Bubbles Die Set, A couple bubbles bursting from the top add to the fun! 

To finish out the underwater theme, she used our Waves Stencil on a with light teal blue ink on the white card base. What a wonderful sea themed creation!

Thinking of You Card by Larissa Heskett

Thinking of You! 

Today we are sharing an adorable thinking of you card created by Larissa. This sweet card features a kitty mermaid from our Purr-maid Newton Stamp Set, perfect for sending thoughtful wishes. She colored this cute image in shades of purple and teal and cut it out using the coordinating Purr-maid Newton Die Set. Then she layered it over two hearts that were die cut out using our Heart Frames Die Set in colors that match the purple and teal on the kitty. Aren't those coordinating colors so pretty?

For the background, she stamped a white panel full of little fish using images from our Narly Mermaids Stamp Set in a random pattern. Then she added black paint speckles and some iridescent sequins to give a fantastical underwater look! 

What a beautiful card! This sweet card is sure to make the recipient smile!

Live, Love, Aloha Card by Samantha Mann

Live • Love• Aloha!

Are you in the mood for summer fun? This card by Samantha is perfect for a summer greeting! She created a delightful scene combing a bunch of NND products! To start out she colored the kitty with the ukulele from our Aloha Newton Stamp Set and the cute corgi wearing a hula skirt from our Corgi Beach Stamp Set. Don't they work perfectly together!? After she colored them in gorgeous vibrant hues, she cut the images out using the coordinating Aloha Newton Die Set and Corgi Beach Die Set.

To set the scene, she created two little islands using our Circle Frames Die Set and inking the die cut shapes with distress inks. She added a curve of waves in front using our Land Borders Die Set, again adding lovely distress inks to the shape. in the background she stenciled a leaf pattern using our Tropical Leaves Stencil and some green inks. To add on more leaves and flowers she stamped images from our Toucan Party Stamp Set (cut out with the coordinating Toucan Party Die Set). Plus, she added seashells from our Manatee-rific Stamp Set and a couple of tiny starfish from our Purr-maid Newton Stamp Set.

The finishing touch is the "Live Love Aloha" from the Aloha Newton Stamp Set, embossed in white onto a black banner.

What a gorgeous tropical scene! The colors are so vibrant and perfect the the tropical setting!

Seas the Day! Card by Amanda Wilcox

SEAS the day!!

Today we are enchanted by this incredible card by Amanda! She has combined several fun sea themed sets to create a tall above and underwater scene that is filled with fun details!

For the underwater portion of her card, Amanda combines the fun kitty mermaid from our Purr-maid Newton Stamp Set and the scuba kitty from our Scuba Newton Stamp Set. They go so perfectly together. She also added coral, seashells and little fish from the same sets. She colored the images and used the coordinating Purr-maid Newton Die Set and Scuba Newton Die Set to cut them out. She added all these fun underwater images to a long card panel that was inked up to look like water. The wave on the top edge was die cut using our Sea Borders Die Set. On the top of the card she added in the duo of seagulls from our Gull Friends Stamp Set overlooking the underwater scene. The image was cut out using the coordinating Gull Friends Die Set. The yellow cloudy sky behind the gulls was created using our Clouds Stencil and some yellow ink. How cute!

Here are a couple of close ups so you can all the amazing details. She added white gel pen accents, glossy effects and sparkles on tail for the mermaid kitty!

Let's Be Mermaids Card by Amanda Wilcox

Purr-maids and Rainbows to brighten your day!

Today we enchanted by this gorgeous sea themed creation by Amanda! She has created a card that is filled with sparkles and shine and is perfect for sending smiles!

She started by stamped those two cute kitty mermaids from our Purr-maid Newton Stamp Set, along with some adorable little fish. She colored all the images in fun bright colors using alcohol markers and added some sparkle and glossy accents to them after they are colored. She cut the images out using the coordinating Purr-maid Newton Die Set and layered the images onto a rounded rectangle cut from vellum using our Frames & Flags Die Set. On this vellum panel she added white embossed bubbles and the sentiment "let's be mermaids" also embossed in white.

She adds even more sparkle and shine with an amazing rainbow background that was created using decofoil with our Seashells Stencil. She applied the rainbow foil using deco transfer gel and a laminator and then cut the panel out with ourFrames & Flags Die Set to give it a scalloped edge! What a magical scene!

I Wuf You Pirate Card by Ellen Haxelmans

Pirate Puppy by the Sea!

Today Ellen has created a fun nautical scene featuring the dog wearing a  pirate costume from our Dress Up Doxies Stamp Set! She colored the dog with copics, adding cute little speckled details and cut him out using the coordinating Dress Up Doxies Die Set. Then she used a bunch of other NND stamps and dies to created the fun tall scene! For the layers of sky, sand and sea, she used our Sky Borders Die Set, Land Borders Die Set and our Sea Borders Die Set to create layers of clouds, waves and sand!

She added stenciled waves onto the die cut waves using our Waves Stencil. That cute crab on the bottom is from our Tides of Love Stamp Set. She added in more little fish, seaweed and shells using the little images from our Narly Mermaids Stamp Set, Purr-Maid Newton Stamp Set, Scuba Newton Stamp Set and Manatee-rific Stamp Set. She colored all these tiny little sea themed images and cut them out with their coordinating die sets.

For the sentiment on the top, she combined the "Arrrrf" from the  Dress Up Doxies Stamp Set with the "I wuf you" from the Puppy Playtime Stamp Set.

Tips on creating this scene!

Below we have some tips from Ellen on how she created a fun tall scene!

1. I knew I wanted to have a sea Valentine's card with the captain dog from the Dress Up Doxies Stamp Set. For the rest of my scene I was looking out for stamps that could fit the scene in the sea and in the air. I choose a few images and colored them. It’s important also to not use  not too many different colors on a card, that’s why I use a few similar colors. This makes the whole card look more cohesive.
2. Then I did take out watercolor paper the largest frames from the Framework Die Set. I die cut the frame twice.
   
   
3. After cutting the frames,  I die cut out the borders from paper that was first cut using the same frames. I used the Land Borders Die Set and Sea Borders Die Set for that. I also took white paper to cut out the largest frames again from the framework die set. Later used the SSky Borders Die Set to make puffy clouds with that white paper.
4. I colored the layered borders with Distress Inks. For the sea I also used the Waves Stencil. The Cloudy Sky Stencil stencil where used for the clouds. Then I did put all die borders together. Some of them overlap, but that’s good to have no gaps inbetween.

Let's be Mermaids together! 

We are feeling lots of summer vibes on this card by Amanda today! She used the adorable kitty mermaids from our Purr-maid Newton Stamp Set! She also stamped a seahorse, seashells and some tiny fish from the set. She colored the images with copics giving them awesome green tales and a green seashell bikini! She cut all the images out using the coordinating Purr-maid Newton Die Set. Then she created an amazing background scene for her card. She started with a stenciled sun using our Sunscape Stencil. Then she layered waves over the top, die cutting them with our Sea Borders Die Set. She finished it off by adding the "Let's be mermaids" sentiment. What an amazing scene and an adorable summer card!

Tatiana created this adorable card using the girl and boy kitties from the new Purr-maid Newton Stamp Set! She used the Tropical Fish Stencil with white embossing paste on white cardstock for the top and bottom, adding a wavy edge using the Sea Borders Die Set. 

This splendid manatee card was created by Samantha using our new Manatee-rific Stamp Set and coordinating die set. She colored the two manatees and added the seashell between the arms of cute manatee on the right. For the wavy water background on her card she used our Waves Stencil! 

Juliana created this charming card using our new Narly Mermaids Stamp Set and die set. The mermaid and her narwhal friend are so adorable together. She added layered of waves  and sand behind them using our Sea Borders Die Set and Land Borders Die Set. The whole scene is on a panel cut out using the scallop edged rectangle from our Framework Die Set! So cute! 

Amanda created this gorgeous sea themed card using our new Manatee-rific Stamp Set and coordinating die set. She created an amazing seashell circle using the little shells and starfish from the stamp set. The bright colors on the manatees and shells really pop against the gray. She she created the stenciled background using our new Seashells Stencil! 

Maria created and incredible under water scene featuring the kitties from the Purr-maid Newton Stamp Set and their little fishy friends. She added layers of vellum waves in front of them using our Sea Borders Die Set and added a piece of coral from the Tranquil Tides Stamp Set. For the background she used our Waves Stencil on a panel cut out using the Frames & Flags Die Set. 

This delightful mermaid birthday card was created by Larissa using our new Narly Mermaids Stamp Set. The mermaid and her narwhal friend are so adorable together. She layered them onto a heart and then created her own black and white background using all the smaller images in the stamp set along with some black splatter and sequins. 

These two kitties are "mermaid" for each other! This enchanting under water scene was created by Ellen featuring the kitties from the Purr-maid Newton Stamp Set. Isn't it so cute how she added pink and blue freckles to their faces!? She included waves and sand using our Sea Borders Die Set and Land Borders Die Set too.  

Holly combined sparkly embossing paste with our Seashell Stencil and lovely watercolors to create the stunning sparkly background on this card. They she layered over the lovely mermaid from the new Narly Mermaids Stamp Set and the sentiment stamped onto a banner from the Frames & Flags Die Set. So pretty!

Naki created this marvelous interactive card using our new Manatee-rific Stamp Set and coordinating die set. She added the two adorable manatees onto a circle where they can spin around! She also included a sentiment in each corner so you can look at the card horizontally or vertically!

Zsofia created this card using our new Narly Mermaids Stamp Set. She colored the mermaid with fun bright pink hair and then fussy cut the arm so she could have her hug the narwhal. For her background she used white embossing paste with our Seashells Stencil for the top and some fun pink alcohol inks for the bottom! Such a mermazing card!
